Caseys Removals were the best decision we made when moving house.

Firstly, they visited our property for a recce the week before to work out what van type would be needed for the job (it would have been a disaster if we had tried to move on our own as we were going to hire a small luton van to do it all, but Casey’s team knew we needed a larger van and exactly how many people it would take to get the job done on time - and they were absolutely right tbf).

On the moving day, the removal team came round early and made our move really stress-free, packing everything into the van quickly and carefully. Massive thanks to Lewis and his team who were awesome. Really friendly, chatty, funny. We had a few boxes that me and my wife were still packing up (really does take longer than you think, doesn’t it?) so the guys helped us with all of that and it was no problem at all.

On arrival at our new home, Lewis helped the previous owner move their furniture out too as they were having some trouble with their removal team (who were running late...) so that we could get into the property in good time.

I can’t recommend them enough, so if you’re looking for a brilliant removal firm who will make your life easy and get the job done well, you’ve found them.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1200

Paid for the packing and moving service. Firstly, was meant to be a two day move. I get a call on the Friday before, asking if they could show up that day to pack.

Okay then. I hadn't time to pack my core items. So instead of a two day move, it's now a 5 day move. Friday packed some of the house, weekend boxes everywhere, which made life difficult for myself and my dogs.

Then Monday rolls around. A different group of moves show up, who don't know what the first half have done and not done and how it's setup.

Constant complaining.

Then Tuesday, yet again a different group of movers. More complaining. Insults about my masculinity from some of the movers. Constant complaints about dog hair, about stairs, about all sorts.

To end with. They didn't pack my cutlery. I only noticed a week later when I unpacked all my boxes. Then found another 2 cupboards that haven't been packed.

Broke my lounge and armchairs. How? They dismantled them, removed the bolts, and as different groups put them together, the new group of movers couldn't find the bolts.

Broke a lamp, broke the wheels on my bbq, broke the wheels on my filing cabinet.

Left behind a bunch of stuff. Like the power cable for one of my Alexa's.

Then at the last minute told me that I needed to empty the wardrobe boxes in the next 10 minutes or they'd charge me £10 a box. So an extra £110.

I paid more based on recommendations and reviews, I got grumpy movers who did a crap job.

That said a few of the movers were good - the one who packed all my kitchen did a great job (apart from missing the cutlery drawer). My computer desk went okay.

I picked Casey’s as they had leafleted us not long after listing which demonstrates how proactive and switched on they are. The communication with the sales team during the process was brilliant and was a sign of things to come. Due to a quick exchange to completion turn around we were unable to secure on street parking outside for the vans but we managed to sort something out and the team were really friendly and understanding about this. I cannot believe how fast they were to pack everything up and completely professional and polite. Unpacking at our new address was super fast despite the heat. This was the first time I had used movers and I was so impressed by the team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Great value, easy to work with and a job well done. Thank you so much Casey’s and team. I especially enjoyed riding in the van with your guys!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1800

The move was somewhat complicated as I was moving out of a three storey house and to 2 separate addresses over 80 miles away, the majority of my stuff went into a storage facility and the rest to a house. Add to that it was a horribly wet and cold day. The team of 4 worked tirelessly with a real can-do attitude. They were very efficient yet took great care of my belongings. As I am planning to move again next year I will definitely give Casey's removal a call. Thank you team!

Professional and stress free service from initial quotation visit to completion. Very friendly and helpful team, nothing was too much trouble, all our needs met and expectations exceeded. Any queries or concerns were addressed immediately throughout the process.

Took advantage of their Packing Service and very glad we did, everything packed with great care and attention to detail. Very impressed with personal service provided.

Also helped to relocate very large items already in situ in our new home. Altogether a faultless transition and would highly recommend.
