Less Stress Removals

Phoned round a lot of removals services in Swindon looking for someone to assist with my house move. I didn't have a lot of stuff but was still being quoted £700 by bigger companies.

I found Andrew and the guys at LSR in Swindon and they asked to see my items before quoting which was a pleasant surprise and were much cheaper than the bigger companies. Due to constant delays with my sale and purchase LSR booked me in at 3 days short notice which was a great relief. They turned up on the day and were fantastic, all my stuff was treated well, double mattress was covered and it all arrived at the other end in perfect order, even my huge yucca plants. They moved my extremely heavy boxes full of clothes without any complaint at all. They moved my items from a 1st floor flat and even though I offered that me and my mum would move the stuff to the foyer for them, they insisted it was no problem to move them down the stairs.

I can't recommend these guys enough, they were great, professional, fairly priced and really friendly. It really was less stress for me so huge thanks to Andrew and the guys today as I know you were super busy doing 2 jobs at once.

We are Cats Action Trust North & West Wiltshire, a small independent cat rescue charity and we contacted LS Removals on a Friday asking if they could help us dismantle, transport and reset a large cat pen from Bath to Trowbridge the following Sunday. We were afraid they might say no as it was such an unusual request made at such short notice. We spoke to a very nice lady who took all the details of the job involved and got back to us very shortly afterwards to say that they would be happy
to volunteer their service
at a minimal fee as we were a charity. True to their word they sent two of their men to dismantle, transport and reset the pen working an entire Sunday (6 hours of very labour intensive work). They worked incredibly hard and did a truly amazing job and we would have been completely lost without them! We were so impressed with their friendly approach, professionalism and ethical ways. We were so lucky to get their help and would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a move. You would be not only ensured of a smooth and efficient job done but also of using a very honest company who strongly supports community matters and takes great pride in helping humanitarian and animal charities alike. They really deserve to be supported in turn!

We were very satisfied with the job Less Stress Removals did on our house move in July 2016.
They were prompt to respond to emails, willing to adjust arrangements to include picking up things from a storage unit as well as the house, at no extra cost, and sensitive and supportive as I dealt with the unexpected death of my mother just before we moved house.
They were prompt on the moving days, and cheerful and very hard-working throughout the 2 days.
They clearly knew each other well, and worked together very effectively as a team.
They provided ample packing materials and boxes, and we were under no pressure to return them promptly.
They were very careful with our belongings and followed our instructions exactly.
The furniture was taken to the right rooms, even when that meant many flights of stairs.
Overall, we would highly recommend them, and would certainly aim to use them again.

Wow!! I read the reviews and though they would be good - but honestly didn't believe all the amazing things said about LSR. Honestly I have moved a lot due to dad being in forces but never have I come across such an amazing team. Above and beyond all the way. I was managing my grandmothers move from Swindon tho Southampton - she is 80 so there were many challenges before and on the 2 days packing and the moving day. I was fully supported by the team moving property - nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly and professional. Excellent timekeeping, efficient and great communication - customer service leaves nothing to be desired! I would want to use these guys every time I move. Words don't do this company justice! Thank you to everyone involved over the period of planning and moving.
