CapitalOne Removals

We used Capital One Removals back in November 2017, I chose them due to the reasonable quote and that they were a local business.

On move day they said that we needed more trips and we had to pay another £500 +VAT, basically they'd under quoted despite a room by room quote.

The move wasn't completed until after 7pm, with the final rush meaning 50% of the last load was literally stacked in the garage.

During the following weeks unpacking we found several damaged and scratched items.

Beds were assembled incorrectly and some screws left out others damaged.

I wouldn't use Capital One again.

I found CapitalOne Removals from a comparison website and their quote wasn't the cheapest but well itemised and clear. They done exactly as the itenary list. Done packing a day before move and delivered the next day a agreed. I must say moving is very stressful but they made it easy. thanks to the whole team. Boys were very helpfull and courteous. dismantling and reassembly was all included Ian the price and they reassembled everything so we had a bed to sleep on at night.

CapitalOneRemovalsLtd did a removal for us in 2013. Whilst they worked damned hard, and were certainly not short of willingness in terms of the actual job, there were a number of badly damaged items and a missing item (which is not accusatory, simply stating it went missing during the move). The follow up on this has been met with such professionalism as "We suggest you check all the boxes and check your car boot and finally the previous house for any small items" and "Any scratch while loading and unloading can happen as human error"; we reported it and took photos while they were still in the house delivering, because of their human error. The follow ups have been met with a single email and despite several attempt by phone and email to find out what the claiming process is for lost and damaged goods, we have still heard not a peep. Add to the above the fact the smell of body odour from one of the removal men took a several hours to leave the new house, and it has been an altogether disappointing episode If you want a team that will work hard and move stuff from one site to another, they are great. If you want to ensure all items are undamaged or in fact delivered at all (again, not accusatory) then I would stay WELL CLEAR OF CAPITALONE REMOVAL.

Moving is very stressful but capital one were amazing. Really helpful and friendly booking assistant and the movers were on time, friendly and very efficient. They moved some very heavy furniture into a first floor apartment with ease and remained cheerful and positive throughout. They were extremely respectful and asked lots of questions to ensure they knew where to place things. Will most definitely recommend capital one to anyone who asks. Thank you so much for your excellent service.

They took all the stress and hassle out of our move. we booked a last minute survey as our removals date had changed and the removals company we were initially booked with were not able to change the dates so we had to google search another company and that's how we came across CapitalOne Removals.
Whole service from packing material to packing service and end of tenancy cleaning for the house we were moving out of at a fantastic price. I just want to say a big thank you to Capitalone removals team for their hard work. Laura.
