The guys that moved me were really good and speedy. Just nice down to earth guys. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone who wants removals. Nothing was too much trouble and they were careful moving furniture. All in all, although moving is stressful, we had some laughs along the way

Initially Mike showed up and was very pleasant. He gave me a reasonable expectation on how much it would cost, and told me that they would prefer to do the move over 2 days as we were moving a long way. Once I had confirmed the moving date, I asked mike if they would be available. He said that they couldn't do that Friday, but could do the Monday. This wasn't really too much of a problem for us, as we weren't selling the house that we were moving from, so could wait until the Monday. We agreed the date and time and were all ready to move on the Monday as arranged. This is where things went wrong. At 7:45 am Mike called to say that on the way there had been a problem with the truck and they were going back to the depot to check it out. He said he would call back in an hour. Meanwhile, I got on with sorting out a few of the last bits. After one and a half hours I tried to call Mike. Unfortunately Mike refused to answer the next 4 calls. Eventually he called me back saying that the truck hadn't got back to the depot yet and that they would need to check it over. He tried to rearrange the date for another day which I said would not be possible as everything was arranged and we had to move that day (imagine what would happen if we'd had someone else moving in on that day, we could be sued for not completing on time). Anyway, Mike said that they would get back to me with an update, and that's the last time I heard from Knights move. At around 10:30, I phone Salford van hire and got myself a truck. I had to load the truck with just myself and my wife whilst the kids were at school. Being a normal working day, most of my friends were working so I had little help, except from one friend who works nights being available for an hour. Eventually, our kit was packed up and we managed to get packed up by about 8pm, then had a 2 and a half hour drive to our new house. I've since heard that Knights do this quite often. PLEASE, WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T USE KNIGHTS MOVE!!! Unless you want to move yourself, with no time for preparation, use someone else.

We’d like to apologise to the customer for what happened, as it is unlike our usual consistent high standards, but unfortunately it was due to events that we could not have predicted or controlled. The move started off fine, agreeing on the quote and, after a couple of cancelled dates and re-bookings from the customer, we agreed on the date. We suggested that it was best the move was done over two days due to the size and distance of it. We were half way to the property, stationary on the A1 because of the bad traffic when a vehicle went into the back of us, damaging our tailgate and rear lights. We rang the customer straightaway to explain the situation. Although, as I’m sure you can imagine, we were very busy that day we did speak to the customer throughout the day, informing him of any updates. We also tried to hire another vehicle, but with the large volume of contents the customer had meant we were unable to do so. The damage done to the vehicle meant that we could not complete the move. It was an unfortunate situation which, regrettably, we could not have done anything about. We are sorry that we were not able to provide the service we intended to but feel it is unfair to say we do this quite often and not to use us as it was a situation completely out of our control. We’re very upset at having received this feedback, but hopefully the rest of our excellent feedback shines through, as it is that which reflects our usual high level of service.

The survey conducted by Mike was done promptly and professionally. We had a fairly last minute move and the company reacted accordingly. The day of the move is always stressful but Mike's team were brilliant and made the move run really smoothly. Highly recommended and very professional, thanks.

Knights Move are a very good company. We used the full packing service. My mother has a lot of stuff which is very valuable to her. The staff who packed her goods were very considerate of both her and her possessions. They spoke to her whilst working, which is exactly what she needed. It was a very hard time for her and they treated her with up-most respect and consideration, whilst doing an excellent job. Considering the amount of possessions, they worked really quick as well. On the day of the move, the 'A' were also excellent, thoughtful of my mother feelings whilst getting on with the job at hand. A fantastic bunch of lads, careful of my mother and how she was feeling, also whilst doing an excellent job quickly. Well worth the money we paid without a doubt. They certainly know their job, each and every one of the staff. Thank you Mike - the move certainly would not have gone as well without you and your team of first class staff.
