This company provided excellent service from our first enquiries to the actual move yesterday. We highly recommend them. The team we had were very good indeed, they worked very efficiently and carefully and made our move stress free. They provided the loan of boxes on the day which was very helpful too.

The person who did the quotation told me that certain items of furniture would be dismantled but the movers themselves failed to do so. My wife ended up dismantling furniture on the pavement by herself. The movers also had poor English and couldn’t understand us. We found ourselves doing a lot of carrying and we still ended up with several items and boxes in the wrong rooms. All in all, very stressful and not worth the expense.
Intercity Removals take our customer feedback extremely seriously and we are sorry to hear that you were not 100% happy on this occasion. As you are aware our Office Manager has contacted you to discuss this personally and to apologise for any misunderstanding. As explained our team had not quoted for any dismantling of your items and therefore as this option had not been taken up by yourselves we were unprepared for your request. We have taken your feedback on board and going forward our team will contact the office to provide a quotation for when clients change their mind. On the day, as our team are always willing to help, they did help you dismantle some of your items and did so free of charge in order to help your wife. In addition, our office provided a larger van, again at no additional charge, and so were able to carry additional items for you.

Excellent communication, prompt service. Emails and calls responded in timely manner. They lived up to their fanatic reviews. Didn't need to see house, discussed over phone what needed moving from 3 bed property so they allocated 2 x 3.5 tonne trucks. Stated if we only end up using one truck on the day then our price will be reduced accordingly. Perfect.

Excellent service. Easy to deal with, very accommodating during a stressful time where our moving date was changed at short notice they were very flexible and changed without fuss. Prompt efficient service and the guys on the day gave lots of confidence and worked so professionally and very hard.

Polite team, but quite slow. Took most of the day, which was disappointing when we had packed and boxed everything, and we only moved 30 mins drive away. Moved 200 miles with basically same stuff last year in much less time.
