Great company. Move went very smoothly. Removal men very friendly and efficient.

The removal guys were very friendly, efficient and jovial. However, having six people in our household moving from one 5 bed property to another, I booked and paid for a 22t lorry. My items needed to be stored for 3 nights. The 22t was unavailable on the day the previous property was to be emptied, so all our belongings were packed into 2 small lorries, and transferred to crates at the depot. On the day of arrival at my new property, the 22t lorry was again unavailable, and our belongings were crammed into an 18t vehicle. Some items of furniture were dismantled to fit in and a few minor scuffs on some of our items may have been avoided if they had been arranged in the larger vehicle. Only 2 guys were sent with this lorry so it took quite a while to unload. I received no communication about the unavailability of the 22t and still paid the full amount for this - despite being quoted for both and choosing the larger option. Also, none of the times I was given were actually correct. The pickup time was initially given as 12-2pm, later indicated as 8-10am, then I had an email to say 10am. The van arrived at 8.30. We were called the day before delivery to say the lorry would be with us at 8am and it arrived after 1pm. All in all, just a bit of communication would have made it a smoother experience. I would also add that Shannon in the office was always polite, friendly and very helpful.

They were fantastic! stepped in at the last minute after another company cancelled our move days before it happened. They men were incredibly efficient, all of our belongings were carefully packed, loaded, moved, unloaded and unpacked carefully. The team were unfailingly polite and cold not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend AMC Removals.

Great attitude, very slick and professional. I'd recommend AMC and use them again. If I had to pick on some very minor negatives: Initial call handling could have been a little slicker: there was an assumption of 'inside information' regarding the need for a quote visit and the size of vehicle. More contact could have been instigated by AMC regarding timings etc. instead of waiting for the customer to call about other issues.

because I had done a little work prior to guys turning up, ie ensured that items were in specific rooms meant that did not have to move anything around in new house. They ensured that all furniture was well handled and even assisted in putting fridge freezer into position. Would use again and would strongly reccommend to friends and family.
