NE residential Surveys

Helpful staff and surveyor I spoke to was really friendly.

The man who attended was very professional he called me first and explained I had searched for the wrong survey which would cost me more and explained the kind of survey I needed for the help to buy. He did not try to get more money by giving me a survey I did not need he was honest and extremely helpful offering expert advice and reassurance that the survey would be accepted and if any issues he would correct them. He was amazing I could not fault him.

I also had a personal recommendation for the Surveyor (Roger Windass) from my solicitor, which gave me extra confidence.

We commissioned a building survey from NE Residential Surveys. Alastair was really friendly and helpful. He really took time to talk us through the survey on the phone, helping us to understand a challenging issue with the property we were trying to buy. The report was comprehensive and well-illustrated with photos. I would recommend NE Residential Surveys to other homebuyers. The only thing I would note is that it took a bit of time to get a response to follow-up questions later on in the process. I sensed it was a really busy time for surveyors and as this is a small firm there wasn't much capacity.

Fantastic service - I would definitely recommend. They are experienced surveyors, local to the north east. First contact with Val was very professional and helpful. Alastair then spent a good amount of time talking me through what the survey entailed, having a look at the property listing to understand my concerns and showing me where I could find out more information on changes to the property etc. Having had that initial chat, I felt very comfortable instructing NE Residential Surveys. The survey was carried out shortly after and the report returned to us promptly. The level of detail was fantastic. I then had a call with Alastair to go through each element to understand further and he pointed me in the direction of a couple of specialist services I need to access before committing to buy. It is also worth pointing out that I had initially asked for a more detailed and expensive service, but Alistair suggested that the Homebuyer Report would be sufficient for this property. Great service, local knowledge, fantastic value. I will make sure to recommend them to friends and family and would not look elsewhere in the future.

I was very impressed by the service we received from NE residential. Alastair had an open and frank discussion about me regarding the differences between a Homebuyers and Buildings report, and then recommended the cheaper option. The survey was arranged quickly and was extremely thorough and detailed. Alastair also discussed several aspects of the survey with me in greater detail and explained the technical side of several building procedures which I greatly appreciated. He has also offered to re-evaluate one area due to issues over access on the day. A fantastic company that I would use again and heartily recommend.

Very efficient service. The survey was completed very quickly and the report emailed the next day. A printed copy arrived in the post a couple of days later.

The process was very smooth and quick, from first contact to getting the report within under a week which was brilliant. Val was very helpful and quick to respond to all queries.

NE Residential provided an excellent service. I received a phone call from Alastair a couple of hours after requesting the quote who talked me through the different types of survey as it turns out I had requested one which was more thorough than would be needed on a property of the size / time period / condition I am buying, and encouraged me to go for a cheaper one which would be more than sufficient for the property. He also talked me through what the survey entails and how the report is structured - very useful as I am a first time buyer. Everything from start to finish went very smoothly, and we received an extremely comprehensive report two days after the survey was completed. I would definitely use NE Residential again.

Amazing from first contact! Really clear description of what would be completed. Really quick turnaround from initial contact to report (3 days). Really comprehensive report and after care was great too with nothing being a problem.
