Knights Move

Mike and his team did a great job - They worked efficiently on the day and made sure all of our belongings were treated carefully (no breakages!). They were all a pleasure to deal with, and I will recommend them to anyone moving house in the future.

I would like to thank all the guys at Knights Move for moving me and my family at very short notice just before Christmas! From the first moment I spoke to Mike I knew these people were efficient and felt they knew what they were doing. Mike came to see me the following day to access the size of the move and our contents. He then gave me a definite 'fixed' price and a realistic time scale as to how long the actual move would take. I was appointed 3 amazing guys, and I was blown away by how hard they worked that day. Moving house is very stressful, especially when you are doing it very last minute. We hadn't even finished packing when the guys arrived to start loading the removal van! They helped relieve the stress of shifting our life, and we couldn't of managed without Dion and the boys! It is advisable to keep the guys well lubricated with tea and coffee, as a good brew always keeps a workforce onside - therefore keep a kettle and few mugs on hand. Thanks again guys!!!

Mike, was very attentive from beginning to end and even after in recommending local tradesmen. One the big day Dione, John (and Mark I think?) were fab, made us feel like spare parts (in a good way!). This was our first ever removal having done previous moves before children ourselves. Nothing broken and despite lots of mud, irate drivers on the main road and a stone spiral staircase they were calm and professional throughout. Mike came to help with the unpacking of the van too to minimize disruption on the road. We were very pleased with the service and professionalism of the team. They were cheap to run on only a few cups of tea and 1 biscuit. Price was exactly what they quoted and they had a plenty big enough van for all of our stuff (2 bed house but moved about a 4 bed's-worth!)

What a fantastic service. From assessing our needs and booking the removal to the actual day of the move, Mike, Dione and the team were excellent. Dione and his team of removal men did a wonderful job, taking great care of our possessions, and making the day stress free, which believe me, really helps. NOTHING was too much trouble for them. A very good bunch of guys and really hard working. If I was moving again (god forbid) I'd certainly use these guys again.

We were very happy overall with the service from Knights Move. We found Mike to be very reliable and his communication was good. Other companies did not return calls or reply to emails, but Mike always responded in a timely manner. We also needed to change our moving date at late notice and he was very accommodating of this. They came the day before the move to pack everything up. Everything was packed very well and quickly and all the boxes were labelled with the room they were for. Some of the guys also wrote on what was in the box, which was very helpful when it came to unpacking. They didn't bring enough boxes to pack everything up and so more packing needed to be done the following day. But they added extra members to the team to do that, so it wouldn't hamper our moving time. The day of the move went well. They carried all of the boxes into the relevant rooms, although some did end up in different rooms or the garage. They also carried all of the furniture in and put it in place and even put the bed back together. There was only one breakage of picture frame glass and they offered to pay for it immediately it was discovered. I think this was caused by the picture not being wrapped like most of our pictures were because it was part of the Day 2 packing and I had the impression some of this was a bit hurried. But they could not do more than offer to pay for it. They guys were very friendly, reliable and approachable - all but one introduced themselves. They worked very hard and were respectful of the property - putting down plastic or blankets to avoid dirtying the carpets. The furniture was all put into bags to keep it clean and avoid any damage. Overall we were very happy with Knights Move and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Both guys who loaded the van were very friendly and helpful completed loading in 1 hour met is in Bridlington unloaded quickly and efficiently could not fault anything

These guys are the absolute best. Professional, helpful, courteous, respectful and the customer service is second to none. Would recommend to anyone.

The personal and professional attention throughout from Mike Hill alongside the positive and friendly manner of the 2 removal men on Move Day resulted in a smooth stress-free relocation to my new home a week ago. Knights Move is real value for money.
