Hebden Bridge, a market town in West Yorkshire, lies at the confluence of the River Calder and Hebden Water. A small town, the area is rich with history, and was once upon a time called ‘Trouser Town’ because of the clothing manufacturing that took place there.
Today, Hebden Bridge is an attractive area to live, and tourists also flock to the area for the walks around the town, but space is limited due to the steep valleys surrounding the town, so it has a small population. Despite a population of just over 4000, reallymoving has helped over 50 people move into the area in the last year alone.
As a town with a mixture of old and new housing, Chartered Surveyors in the area are experienced in both completing both HomeBuyer Reports and Building Surveys, and the right survey for you will depend on a number of factors. For an older property or one that is situated by the rivers of the town and therefore may have experienced some flood damage or have structural weakness, you would probably go for a more detailed Building Survey, whereas for a newer, structurally sound development a HomeBuyer Report is advisable.
Whatever survey you want, you’ll be able to save time and money with reallymoving. When settled into the area, why not visit the beautiful Hardcastle Crags or Heptonstall, two local landmarks, or go to the Picture House for an evening?
