When Mike came to give the original quote, he reassured me that all of my belongings would be well looked after. The team certainly kept that promise. They were fast, friendly and efficient, and every item was treated with care and respect. I had estimated that we would be out of the flat we were moving from by about 11:30, but by 11:20 all of my belongings were safely installed in my new home! I would have no hesitation in recommending First Class Removals to others, and will certainly use them when I eventually move again. They are a credit to the profession. This company made a stressful experience 100% more stressful because:- 1.After changing the agreed start time from 8.15am to 9.30am (24hrs before the move) they finally turned up at 1PM!! 2. The van was too small to take all my effects. I was asked:"What can we leave behind?"!!! I had to return a day later and cram stuff into my car 3. The men had obviously already done a job before coming to move me, they were tired and ill-prepared - no water or food to keep them going.When one of them almost passed out they wanted to know if I could provide something to eat and drink! 4. When we were ready to leave the men didn't even know where they were going! 5. They finally finished at 11pm, leaving boxes and furniture in the wrong rooms on the wrong floors, I have had to get someone in to finish what they should have done as part of the move. 6.I asked Mike Harper about new covers for the sofas and mattresses, he assured me that they were used as standard; they used old blankets. My furniture was damaged as was my orthopaedic mattress. He told me my goods were insured for £25,000. When I asked him for an insurance claim form, he told me to send him the bill. When I tried to tell him how unsatisfactory his service was he shouted me down and then hung up. 7. This man is only interested in getting your money. He couldn't care less about customer service or satisfaction. 8. Please remove this company from your website and spare someone else a very unpleasant experience

Good website, it certainly helped me. Finding a removal firm can be time consuming especially if, like me, its the first time you have had to book a removal company, it is also a gamble to some extent unless you have had recommendations. First class have been effiecient, professional, polite and helpful and I have no doubt that they will be all those things again the day we move! They also gave us the best quote which included free packing materials and insurance.

Scuffed my leather suite, despite me telling him I was paranoid about it getting damaged, possibly going to an insurance claim. He says he will send some leather balm, I'll wait to see if it arrives.
