 Cosey Homes Chartered Surveyors have been delivering a friendly, high quality service since 2003. We operate across the country, with offices based in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham and St Helens, Merseyside.

We are accredited by Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors as well as the Chartered Association of Building Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Building.

Good customer service, prompt replies, overall a good experience for a first time buyer and turnaround time was pretty decent.

Turnaround from inspection to receiving report was 7 days, which was a little longer than I had originally anticipated; however, the quality of the report more than made up for it. I've had a few Level 2 homebuyer reports now and this one was by far the most comprehensive. I would definitely recommend if you're happy to wait for a slower turnaround than other competitors.

I would love to give the team a 5* rating but there was a huge mix-up / misunderstanding which meant I had to wait for almost 6 weeks for the report to be done, which was a huge pain. Maria was very responsive and the report once completed was very thorough and highlighted lots of things for consideration but the upfront engagement was a massive pain and very anxiety-inducing unfortunately, with me calling the Estate Agent and CoseyHomes multiple times to get to the bottom of their miscommunication.

Excellent company arranged our Level 3 report within days of booking. The report provided was in depth and very informative and highly detailed. Fortunately for us with the information in the report. We didn't go ahead with the purchase as it would have been a very expensive mistake.

The reason for 4 stars is whilst the people I dealt with were great, the report was late by 2 working days - we had chosen Cosey Homes because of the quick turnaround (5 working days) (they were not the cheapest quote I found), so it being late delayed our move. I understand it was not the direct fault of the people I was in touch with, but as a general policy I think Cosey Homes needs to ensure they can deliver on the 5 working day turnaround they state.
