The report was received almost a week later than advised due to ‘quality checks by the director’. The received report was poorly written, and some sentences made no sense at all. This report was evidently not quality checked properly, so the delay was not justified. The report was lengthy. I felt there was a lot of information written under each section of the report but the majority of the information was general guidance rather than being specific to the property. I made a complaint as per their written complaints process and it took nearly two weeks for a response (once I had emailed advising I would take it to the next stage). The company director called and talked through the report, giving his personal view and took note of the views I had on the quality of the report. Thanks Helen

Excellent from start to finish, really pleased with the service and the report. Very thorough report, we went to the property towards the end of the survey and the surveyor talked us through everything which was so helpful!

Survey lacked in details we had asked for but it did seem as if the surveyor had looked at as much as they could. Surveyor wasn’t available any sooner than 19 days away plus the 7 days (5 working) that it took to get the report back meant we did have to wait a long time over all. But the availability we were aware of when we booked, however we hoped to receive the survey without chasing it which didn’t happen. ( survey done Monday and called Tuesday week after to ask why we hadn’t had the report ) Overall an ok experience but not great.

Regarding the level of detail of the survey, we are sorry if you felt it did not go into enough detail, however as you have stated yourself there is only so much a surveyor can comment on based on a visual, non-intrusive, inspection; if you would like to contact us further to clarify exactly what the extra details you were expecting were, we can look into this and get back to you. A 73 pages clear and detailed report, very useful. Also, they can arrange a call after inspection which is helpful is you want to know the results immediately.
