Level 2 Report
Formerly known as the RICS Homebuyer Report, the Level 2 survey is a detailed survey report addressing any concerns you would have as a property purchaser. The Level 2 report is suited to most properties built after 1850 which are in a reasonable condition. Your property surveyor will conduct a thorough inspection of the property before providing an easy-to-follow, concise report that tells you exactly what you need to know.
To make your RICS Home Survey Level 2 even easier, it uses a colour coded system to help you understand any defects found and how serious they are.
Level 3 Report
Formerly known as the RICS Building Survey, the Level 3 report is also a very detailed survey report which is designed for much older buildings. The Level 3 report is designed for properties built before 1850, Listed Buildings or buildings which have been significantly altered or extended. In most cases, a Level 2 report will suffice and provide the most cost effective survey for your needs however, if your property fits into the above criteria, our detailed Level 3 reports will be just what you need.
