The guys turned up on time and worked hard on a difficult and messy move day.

BUT, during the day there were 2 occasions where one of them took some of my furniture keys out of their pocket to try in locked cabinets. Once the move was complete I couldn’t find those keys and when I asked Zebra removals they say they didn’t have them and the guy never had any keys in his pocket. I now have an expensive mahogany drinks cabinet I can’t open and a deconstructed wardrobe that I won’t be able to lock. I even gave them a generous tip, very disappointing, I hope there was nothing else put in their pockets during the move but will never know for sure.

I think it’s is generous to give 2 stars, Unsatisfactory is quite lenient.

Be vigilant if hiring these guys.

I really wanted to write a review for this company after they went above and beyond the call of duty for us at the weekend. We moved from Chester to Warrington and the whole thing had been a bit of a nightmare right up to moving day. We'd booked Zebra Removals after they were recommended by a friend and I'm so glad we did. They turned up on time, were friendly and courteous all day ( despite us being stressed ) and worked hard all day. They got the job done with no fuss and we were in our new home before we knew it. They even put our bed together for us. I'd like to mention the guys in the office as well especially Jonathan who's had to put up with us and our problems for the past four weeks :-) A big thank you to Zebra Removals from the Ellis family.

Following the death of my mother it was necessary to sell her house to pay her care home bill. My husband and I had cleared out her back yard about a year ago and it took a full day to do it (my mother was what is commonly referred to these days as a “hoarder”)! For that reason we decided that we needed someone who was experienced in house clearance and could move all the heavy, old-fashioned furniture. I found Zebra Removals on the internet. Jonathan was professional and approachable (an excellent combination). He arranged everything just as he promised. The people were due to arrive at 9am - when I arrived at the house at 8.45am they were already there! Everything was removed as promised and Jonathan even handed me documents relating to the house that I didn’t know existed and those were neatly placed in labelled folders! A first-class job; I couldn’t recommend Zebra too highly.

Clearing a house especially one that has been a family home for many years is a daunting undertaking. We soon came to the conclusion that we would need help. Jonathan visited beforehand offered helpful advise and made me feel reassured that our late parents belongings will be treated with thought and respect by being recycled and donated where possible and also benefit a local charity. Jonathan listened to my requests and the work was carried out in a professional manner. The team arrived on time clearing the house garage and shed. Nothing was too much trouble. Even delivering a washing machine from the property to me at no extra cost.
