Wrekin Removals

I was moving from Telford to Congleton Cheshire about 50 miles. The initial Loading up of the van went well but a little longer than they had originally anticipated for the two removers. They quickly called in extra help and finished the job off. The delivery to Congleton was two days later and went far more smoothly because there were three of them from the start. They were very friendly and helpful at all times and did a thoroughly good job on both occasions. I am more than happy to recommend them as is my daughter who was very much involved with the overall move.

We had a visit from someone to audit our house for removal, 5 weeks of storage and return. There was a wait of 2 weeks and had no response. My partner had been in hospital and I was looking after our 5 children by myself. We have a lot of stuff to pack and would have paid what it was worth, and since my partner is disabled, we thought that a professional team would be able to help.
When I called them back I was repeatedly told "we cannot quote for your job at this time"
When I asked what that meant, whether there was another time that they would, I was just given a repeat of the same sentence. No explanation given.
My advice would be, only go to these guys if you have a very easy job. Otherwise they clearly can't be bothered.

My wife and I have nothing but praise for Wrekin Removals. They gave a reasonable quote. Carried out a survey of our belongings to be moved and gave a good run down of what we needed to do to help the move go smoothly. On the day of the move the removal lorry turned up on time and the 2 lads Scotty and Josh set about loading. They were very friendly hard working chaps who worked very swiftly and efficiently and had everything loaded in no time. Because of the distance it was a 2 day job and we met them at our new home the next morning where another Wrekin removals crew turned up to help the unload. I usually use local businesses where possible and was extremely happy that we used Wrekin removals. I highly recommend them and thank them for the professional and friendly way that they moved our belongings.

I'm going to give them a 4 for the move because they only broke 1 item, but it could be a 3.5 because a) I packed b) it was really stressful.

Very pleasant chaps doing really hard work, polite through and through. That said, only 2 people turned up to do the move! This meant it took forever! We were so anxious that we wouldn't be out in time to meet our contractual obligations and we did worry watching large, heavy designer pieces and antiques being maneuvered up and down stairs cases by only 2 pairs of hands..

They scraped through, but we were hours late finishing and it was a stressful day.
