A scammer.

Bad in all the way try many times to contact never reply till today.
I lost partial of my belongings and never got back the item or the value that I insured
What I can say it’s a pure scam.

Relocation.

This would have to be worst moving or relocation experience I have ever had and would never use this company ever!!
This company and Mr Nelson are terrible and should be put out of business.
To avoid any issues I had this guy come and look at all the things to relocate. A person with any experience would know this from experience as they have to allow for boxes and transport to suit the items. I was told I had about 8 cubic meters.
I then arranged for collection, there was no packing list put together just the number of boxes. The documents I had signed listed none of the contents.
Then the next day I had communication that there was 12 cubic meters and a whopping invoice. this is a 30% increase. I objected this and was then told if I did not pay I would also be up for storage fees. I almost did not ship as the bill for shipping was now getting up around the value of the goods. I also discovered with this amount it would have been cheaper for me to just get a whole shipping container for myself. Mr Nelson would offer no discount despite my objections and also not a shipping container as that opportunity had passed.
I have now had my good arrive in Australia and the receiving company here had no documents so I had to fill out everything again. Most of the costs that I was informed had been covered in my invoice from Mr Nelson were in fact not.
Then when I received the invoice from the customs clearance company is Australia in notice in the invoice that I was invoice for the inspection of 8.37 cubic meters. Some of these items are also now damaged. I hate to think of what luck I will have in trying to get any insurance.
Therefore the 14 meters was in fact a fabrication.
Mr Nelson asked if I had any friends in Thailand that may need his services. Be careful Mr Nelson as some of the friends I have that may get you around to give a quote may give you something else to go along with it.
If you don't like it Mr Nelson I would like to post all the email correspondence and invoices to show that what I am saying here is the truth.

It is obviously a sport now a days to write bad about us. For years not had any bad written reviews and now autumn 2016.

But with around 1+ job out of Thailand a day, it is not easy to make all customer satisfied. Even we try hard. White Swan is not flawless, no business is. Mistake happens, but mistakes are there to be solve. But this require that the customer contact White Swan when they discover a problem or mistake. If not we think that everything are OK. When White Swan makes mistake or break something, we stand by this.

I wonder why you Mr. Tony speak so badly on the internet and not even confronting White Swan first. Never even got one mail from you since Sep 30st. You were told on the day of the survey that you got approx. 8 cubic meter excl. crating. Also on the day of the survey we agreed that I should make a new quote on 10 cubic meter incl. crating. This you got the next day, 7 days before packing day. After packing and when your things was at our warehouse, where crates are made and 1 day before go port, I was told 12 cbm incl. crating by our warehouse manager. Warehouse where we send smaller shipment which need crating are 75 km from office. So I not go there every day. We have to trust him. We make invoice from what he tell us. You received 8.27 cubic meter without crates at your address in Australia. So my calculation on survey day was as it should be.

I never threaten you. You and I was discussing the volume and I said if we not agree and payment is not done, then storage would occur due to I had to pay fee at port. Also you ask me if we could return your things. I said yes, but payment for work already done must be paid. Nobody works for free. Also I think the tone between us was good during the volume discussion. When I found out the mistake about the volume, I offered you back the price from 8 to 12 cubic meter. More than I had to do. When mistake like this, with many cubic meter, we always pay back customer the difference cubic meter. Again mistake can occur, but we all do the best we can to avoid these mistakes.

Also we never charge you for the extra miles, which our partner charged us. In your case it was AUD 38,- per cubic meter. Our quote to you was within 100 miles from port. Our partner charge from 1 to 100 miles and 101 to 200 miles and so on.

Therefore the 14 meters was in fact a fabrication. Where do this number come from??

All papers / documents as BOL, B534 form, Copy of your passport and packing list was send to our partner in Australia. We do that every time.

Also our partner told us everything was packed good etc. If something was broken they would have told us. Also if something was missing. You never notified us about something was broken or missing. WHY?

I never threaten you. But you are now threating me with your friends. That is sick.

White Swan Are big frauds.

Since I am a third customer writing a bad review here, this should confirm already that White Swan and Mr. Frank Nelson are a big fraud. I agree that this company should be shut down immediately as they are bid frauds. He and his wife both are frauds. She replied to one email in her bad English too, telling us if we didn't read the contract it's not their fault. The truth is they never show us the contract and not even clearly tell you about it upon agreement. They take your signature when they pick up the goods from you just confirming the number of boxes etc. They are black swans! Big big frauds! Don't trust them! It was horrible. No documents were printed out or shown to us at the time of agreement, and when asked, Mr. Nelson gave assurance that it was a door to door service and apart from customs we need not to worry about anything. I regret trusting his words because again they were only verbal. I asked him if we'd had to pay anything extra other than the customs, and he told us not to worry about it. He charged us 1849 $. When I asked why it was so much, he mentioned that most of the costs are for holland because the handling fee in Europe was expensive. I didn't have so much stuff, just 29 small boxes, most of it were personal items and no furniture at all, just clothes and simple living stuff like small room decoration and cups and small kitchen items. He also confirmed that the transport fee in holland was included and that it was a door to door service I wouldn't have to pay anything additional apart from customs if they occur and this was all inclusive. That's the thing we didn't have any customs fee at all as they were not applicable to us these were personal items with our country move. He said the fee was so much because the cost in holland was a lot and that in Thailand the costs were only 500$ from the total. What happened was the complete opposite. Not only our goods didn't reach on time, they were extremely late and we could not track them. I sent several emails to ask about my goods and White swan told me to wait patiently and that we need not to worry and they were safe. My husband is dutch so he looked into it and found that the partner company that was supposed to receive our goods here, was not even there or we think don't even exist. When I called in to ask White Swan, Mr. Nelson tells us that they shut down n didn't inform him. I mean how is that even possible business wise. Also, they didn't follow up on the shipment resulting in additional storage costs upon arrival and unnecessary delays. The thing that bothered me the most was that even when we contacted them about our goods, and told them they were just laying at the port after my husband tracked them here in holland. They did nothing to help us. They didn't track them further and what Mr. Nelson said was sorry!. Oh my God, How could you just say that? Like that helps?? My husband then took over and tracked them himself here. What if we never called in to check up with our shipment. Can you imagine the costs? It shows they are very irresponsible and ignorant. They just don't care. My husband carried out all the necessary procedures here himself to receive our stuff. He tracked the goods and contacted a company in holland that assisted us. The company in holland are very professional and we received our goods but, ofcuz there were more surprises for us. Yes there were broken boxes, almost all of them were broken. A lot of damaged goods. Not only that, but we had an additional cost upon arrival of 800+ euros which came as a surprise to us. When we contacted white Swan they tell us to pay for it, and even told the dutch company that contacted them from here that the customer had to pay. I even asked them about the money I paid them, what happened to that? And they bring a contract with a condition to throw it on our face that port charges is not in their control. They simply ate our money. Why weren't we informed of it earlier, and why wasn't it mentioned at the time of the agreement. And why wasn't it mentioned when I asked them. All Mr. Nelson said was that I was paying more because it covered all the costs in Europe including the transport fee, but we had to pay for that too. Mr. Nelson, he is sneaky, he knows eu law really well, under the conditions as we were receiving goods, since we were the receiver, if we didn't pay for it we could ve been in trouble. An action can be taken upon us if we didn't pay. What he does is take your goods take your money and send the goods off, and if we didn't track it our goods would ve probably been sold off for the fee that wasn't paid. As long as he got the money it's okay for him and as long as he sent ur goods already he doesn't care, plus he eats the money that was for handling of the goods. You'd want your goods of course you would do anything to receive it including paying again to receive them and he knows it. So I am typing this review because I don't want anyone to go through this, in moving from one country to another it is hard enough and you don't want a fraud or to be cheated with money when you already have to pay a lot during your move. Do not trust anything White Swan have to say as I have all the emails to prove this happened too, to prove what they did to us.

I told you door to door 100% correct. But there is something called INCLUDED and NOT INCLUDED. I think not only you but most customer “forgot to read that”. Mostly they only look far as to the price.

Dear Shazia. You did accept our quote. Therefor you also accepted the things not included. I will agree that might not be easy to understand. Some strange words etc.

This was stated in our quote as not included.
• If import and customs duties/taxes, c/c, nvocc-charges, demurrage, detention, port charges or storage/ warehouse, if any local charges regarding the shipment and any other duties if inspection in Netherlands.
• The estate held for further inspection and / or removal of household for physical customs inspection. Container rental or other cost associated with household if cannot be delivered and handling in connection therewith.
• If quarantine inspection fees or x-ray fees. All fees associate with items if ordered in for treatment, ie. Steam Cleaning, Fumigation or Gamma Irradiation.
• Shuttle service (pickup / delivery) to multiple addresses than above.
• Delivery above 2nd floor without lift.
• If special equipment or manpower is required at the destination address due to bad access. The same applies long carry. If external lift is required. Parking permit/ fees if required at destination. Special crating.
• Heavy lift like big safe’s, piano’s, pool tables etc.
• If any sea freight increases

Yes there were broken boxes, almost all of them were broken. A lot of damaged goods.

One thing: All your things are broken you say. Who did the packing? You cannot make White Swan the scapegoat for that you have not packed up to a good standard for overseas sea freight. Also our partner never mention any of this and they would if was true. Sorry but hard to believe. Am I the only one in this world who would contact the company I hired at origin, if this happen to me??

Yes, most of the money you paid us went to Holland. That is not a lie. Then the sea freight. You had 29 items. Did not charge you for the extra you added on pick-up day. Also I deducted you THB 13,000.00 for the original price. Because you asked if you could get a little cheaper.

My husband is Dutch so he looked into it and found that the partner company that was supposed to receive our goods here, was not even there or we think don't even exist.

That is not true. I told you by mail that the person that I normally worked together with in Netherlands van Winsen had stopped at the company. That I did Sep. 19th. So your shipment went to another staff of the Dutch company. Therefor some confusion at the beginning. I had to send all papers and documents twice. But our partner should have informed us that she stopped and didn’t work there anymore and given us name on another contact person. Other companies do that.

I want proof that I told you that the Dutch company had stopped to exist.

Every time you contact me regarding your shipment both by mail or phone, I told you to relax and that your shipment is on its way. Our partner will you contact once it arrives.

I am sorry for the additional cost of EURO 800,-. I didn’t know and I didn’t expect you to pay anything extra. Again you could have contacted us. I pay our partner for custom clearance door delivery, unloading, unpacking and for cleaning up after end move. So what this EURO 800,- is? I don’t know. If something stated under not include, then maybe, but never so much for that small volume of goods. Also you not had to pay for import tax. What happen with Customs and port at destination is out of our control, this is for our partner to handle.. Please let me know what extra you paid for, I will look into this and if something is not correct according to our agreement, then we can talk about compensation.

I can’t recalled I ever said that. If you paid for the transport, then that is very wrong. It was already paid for. I think that our so-called Dutch partner let you pay for more than you should.

Wrong I don’t know the EU law 100%. Very little in fact. There are different laws and rules for each country.

An action can be taken upon us if we didn't pay. If you didn’t pay, then White Swan as shipper could have been stuck with your shipment and it would properly have been shipped back at our cost.

If I only was thinking about the money, then I wouldn’t have deducted you THB 13,000.00 for the original price and also made you pay extra for the extra you added on at pick-up day. I call that fair, good service and a man with good heart trying to do the best for the customer. I often not charge extra when our customer add smaller volume. I think many of our customer would agree about this.

To call someone a fraud or a cheater with money bad words. I want proof on fraud. I want proof of cheating. Tell me once my wife send you Email. Tell me once you talk to my wife. I need proof. Give me my wife name. I need proof that I have stolen / taken your money. I need proof that I have charged your extra and you paid to me? Where is the fraud we made? I need proof.

Stay away from this company.

Our relocation was such a nightmare,from White Swan relocating company from Bangkok to Manila. At first all was OK but 1 weeks before the moving the owner was getting an attitude as we have to beg to know all the information about moving. We pay around 4000$, we end up paying 9750$ why?
Well because they put false info such as as the weight on all documents and the customs don't care they read all the documents, 3 boxes were missing, lots of glasses broken. All the tape they use still mark our furniture.

We move a lot worldwide it is the first time that we have been treated by the owner of this company like we were not customers. Each time we ask for information we were getting someone very rude and this owner always as been trying to ask for more and more money. I can't believe that a foreigner could act like this to a foreign family. It was such a nightmare and stress ,there was no inventory done by the company at the day of moving, it was not even one document to sign and no one count our goods. Such an unprofessional company we were stuck with them as the next day of the moving we were flying, but my god what stress my family and I got from White Swan Company Bangkok. It's not worst for the money, we end up paying and all the missing or broken items.

When I was told about your bad review about White Swan, I was shocked.
Why? Besides being a rough review, it is also filled with false accusations. You wrote this 4 month after you received your things.
Too write on the internet about persons or companies to warn others is OK and fair. But it must be the truth, must be fair and also the case should be investigated thoroughly and not just write something due to stress and anger.
There was no wrong weight on the BOL. No, tape on furniture. That I can guarantee. If so, the staff will be fired. The owner, manager and staff have been more than fair and good towards you and your family from the beginning. Also after this review. We offered to help you sort this out through our Lawyer and his partner in Philippines. But your answer was no. All we needed from you to do this was some proof on what you paid and missing etc.
But there are something not right in this case. You knew what you paid to us. If the Philippine company suddenly wanted USD 5750,- more, why didn’t you contact White Swan about this?
At White Swan you only paid for the volume you got and you know that. We paid our partner in Philippines for Custom Clearance, delivery and unpacking. You paid us door to door. What the company in Philippines did or told to you is out of our control and again especially when you didn’t contact us about this.
3 boxes missing! Why didn’t you contact White Swan about this?
Lots of glass was broken! Why didn’t you contact White Swan about this?
If this happen to me as customer I would contact the company I made agreement with straight away. White Swan didn’t know about this before 4 month after you received all your things and not by a personal call or Email from you. VERY STRANGE.
Also a special insurance was made by you through White Swan. But not even 1 claim from you was made. Why?
So something is not right here and smell.
I made contact to you by email and we wrote each other and you finally found out that White Swan are not to blame in this case, even we are responsible for you move as the company you hired to handle for you. Especially when I wasn’t told anything by you, but had to find out on the internet 4 month after you and your family received everything.
Not fair you still got this bad review about us, after you know we are not to blame and even offered you free of charge to find out what happen.

Absolute FRAUD.

Quite possibly the worst moving experience I have ever had. Frank Nelson is an absolute fraud, he had no idea what he was speaking about and basically came - packed my stuff and sent it to China without any knowledge of the local laws. My container was held in customs for nearly 3 months and to make matters worse, locked by the China customs authorities. White Swan has the slightest clue on any formal procedure. They also charged me double the amount from my original move (Korea to Thailand). There was hardly any communication after he received my money only to ridicule me and verbally attack me. I am a client!!  Frank Nelson basically held my personal belongings hostage and sent them off without the approval from the Chinese logistics company. I would never recommend this joke of a business. Its sad - I should have gone with a reliable company such as Tiger Mobility which was actually recommended by the original logistics company that handled the move. In fact, the Korean company politely declined to handle my move to China since they knew it was a complicated process. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR AWAY from White Swan ! If there was a BBB in Thailand, I would make a report. The only thing I can do now is hope that I can get my shipment. I still have not received it, the Chinese logistics company is still having trouble receiving the proper paperwork from White Swan. When I asked them, how did you even get in contact with White Swan? They replied "They probably found us on the internet, they shipped without any approval from us." I really hope this nightmare is over soon and hope none of you ever encounter this problem! UPDATE* The story goes from real bad to an absolute nightmare. Shortly following the posting of this review, Frank finally sent me an email and asked me to remove it and would "settle" it with a reimbursement to remove the post. After removing, I was informed from the local China partner that Frank was unresponsive and due to his unprofessional conduct we have an issue. The China partner is Asia Express International Movers. They are just as negligent as now they just billed me $7500 USD for DEMURRAGE charges for keeping my shipment in storage. Unbelievable, the manager Benoit stated they will "seize my shipment and sell it." The absolute worse moving experience just turned into financial nightmare. So now a simple move from Bangkok to Shanghai is costing over $15,000 USD. NEVER TRUST THESE CROOKS!

But Mr. Harry Kim and his Donald Duck Nonsense. Nonsense without any truth, but full of lies. Nonsense written by a man who will not take his own mistakes on his own shoulders.
Mr. Harry Kim. Wherein are the fraud? Did White Swan ask for more money from you? No, we did not. You paid the agreed price for the volume you got ( no more or less) and from that we paid for all handling in Thailand, sea freight and handling in China.
Nothing to do about local Chinese laws. Something to do with you didn’t feel safe that your things should be in Thailand until you was ready to ship and wanted to ship your things straight away, because as you said: You didn’t trust anyone in Thailand and as you said, then all Thai men at gays that rob people and Thai woman are all prostitute that are cheating. I wonder how your stay was in Thailand during your stay here.
So to start with you wanted to ship in your friend name. His paper wasn’t in order, so that we could not. Then you told us that we should just ship in your own name and hopefully all papers needed would be finished upon arrival. We talked to our partner about this and they didn’t recommend this, but we told them that you insisted. So we ship. You were told that lot of storage etc would occur if your papers wasn’t OK upon arrival.
So was shipping your thing on your orders, fraud? No, it is not.
We as many others companies always follow our customer wishes and demands. Customers are our Boss. And that was exactly what we did in your case.
The Chinese logistics company is still having trouble receiving the proper paperwork from White Swan. That is bull. They received everything when they asked for it last year.. You got a big problem with your attitude. You write. Stolen and broken items. How you know when you not received your things yet?? I know in fact that you received everything. And according to our partner then everything on the packing list was delivered.
Basically it's all about you and your attitude and that you wanted to ship straight away due lack of trust in Thailand and everything and everyone in Thailand.

You have only yourself to thank for this end as it is. But it is easier to blame others than oneself for own mistakes.
Not only are we crooks, making frauds. But as you so nicely put it in your mail. Then we are retards too. Wonder how retarded crooks that walk around making fraud can have been business owner for more than 30 years.
If we are a bundle of retarded crooks that cheated you, why don’t you go to the police? No, little man, you got no case what so ever.
Suddenly you write this review. In a mail 2 days ago, you wrote that you are willing to remove this review, if we paid you USD 4000,-. That will never happen. So Mr. Harry Kim. Writing a lying review and asking for money to remove it. Who is the crook here? Certainly not White Swan.

Relocation.

Never, never, never touch them. They are cheater. They established the company for cheat people. Firstly they giving to you good quotation. After you give to them your belongings they start playing with you. Firstly they gave to me $7000 quotation for Thailand to China and they said storage fee is 3000 Baht monthly. I gave to them our belongings and few months later I requested to them relocation my belongings. After all document ready they send to me new quotation $11.500 +1500$ . I didn't accept when I asking to them why like this their explaining are just not enough profit. And they changed the storage fee 21000 Baht. With out any explain. around 2 months discussion they reduce the price $8500 +$1500. But I didn't trust to them any more I wanted with bank warranty. But they didn't accept and send to many email for accepting. Finaly I agreed. They sent my belongings with out reviewing documents after my belongings come to china they said I need extant my visa. It is get around 1.5 month. I paid extra demorage fee $2000 and I paid $5000 tax for my used belongings this another bad job too. After I paid totaly $16.000 I god my belongings with too many broken and lost. After I checked the packing list they send firstly 151 box. They send to agency new packing list it is has 135 pcs. Also too many big thing not in the list. They are absolutely cheater. They are stealing your money and belongings and you can not do any think. Be cause you are out of the country.

Whiteswan Criminals !

Whiteswan Relocation and Frank Nelson, nearly costs us our entire household belongings. At first he - speaks Danish like me - seems nice and orderly. I thrusted him completely. After our stuff was picked up, we never received the container in Denmark. I paid in full in cash at the beginning. After many rude and agressive emails and verbal abuse..I had to threaten with legal action. Finally I had a good friend come to the rescue - cannot say what - but we did get our things back, all in one piece and ok..but DO NOT use Whiteswan ! They are absolute CROCKS.

Worst Moving Experience Ever.

I served 22 years in the military, so I know a thing or two about moving.
Frank Nelson is the biggest cheat and con man I have ever dealt with.
After reading these reviews, I have to concur with what everyone wrote and then some.
I also read Frank Nelson's excuses and lies.
Without going into my whole experience, I challenge Frank Nelson to tell me to my face, that he is not a fraud. He is such a coward, he hid from my wife when she went to confront him.
We even had to hire another company to deliver our household goods from Bangkok to us. He took off with about $2000.00 of our money for customs charges.
Stay away from this company and this man.
