Question
How do I know if I have one where I’m moving to? Do I get charged for a long carry?
Answer
‘Long carry’ is a term that is used when there is an unusually long distance from the back door of the removal vehicle and the doorstep of the property (typically greater than 75 ft / 23 metres). This typically incurs an extra charge from the removal company. If you think that your removal might fall into this category, check when asking for a quote.
