A small community which grew into a major English seaside town in the 20th century, like many seaside towns, Weston-super-Mare has had its ups and downs. However, with a recent regeneration project underway revamping the seafront, Weston-super-Mare has grown in popularity in recent years, and in the last 12 months reallymoving has helped over 393 people move into the area.
With most of the town being built in the 19th and 20th centuries, there has also been recent redevelopment in the town, and our local Chartered Surveyors have plenty of experience in dealing with all types of housing surveys in the area. Not only will they be able to give you a valuation of the property, they will also be able to advise you on whether you should seek renegotiation on the price or whether to ask the current homeowners to make any repairs before you buy the property.
Recent research by the RICS has revealed that more than a fifth of home buyers who did not take out a survey are now saddled with a property they would never have bought if they had been aware of its true condition, so the cost of a surveyor is relatively little considering the potential costs you could be paying down the road.
When settled down in Weston-super-Mare, take time to enjoy the beach resort and the public parks in and around the town, there is plenty to do to satisfy everyone.
