I have used Lucas packaging and removal services before and they did a really wonderful job both time. They kept me informed and their response to all my queries was very fast. They moved all my stuff very carefully and made sure not to damage the place as well as my stuff. Staff was friendly and cooperative. They covered and tied all my stuff to prevent it from breaking. They also did a nice job of unloading it. I would strongly recommend their moving as well as cleaning services. I got the full refund on my end of tenancy cleaning. Overall. I had a great experience with them.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Flat Service cost: £900

Lucas and Camile were absolutely amazing when they moved me from Swindon. The information emailed prior to my move ensured I was fully prepared for the move and Lucas was professional and friendly in his communication. They arrived on time and assessed my moving needs, checking with me what was being moved from each room.

Lucas treated all my belongings with the utmost care using protective packing covers & plastic wrap to ensure no damage to my belongings. Lucas was training Camile, the care and attention he took explaining how to move my furniture to protect both the furniture & Camile well-being was wonderful to see, they worked quickly and carefully, checking with me that everything was ok.

When I arrived at my new house Lucas checked which rooms I had and labelled them to ensure everything was placed in the right room, he put floor covers down and checked what items needed building.

Lucas built 2 beds for me and placed all my furniture in the positions I wanted them in each room.

I would highly recommend Lucas and his company and will definitely use them again.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £800

In my opinion, these are important notes for your house move which I wish I knew and followed.

1. Avoid We Move And Clean from Swindon, especially for large home removals. They seem to do well with smaller moves, but not large 4/5 bed home removals.

2. Read the fine print. They will use it to get extra money. Don’t make the mistake I made and trust that all will go well and that you will be treated fairly.

3. If you have to use them, do not pay the deposit with the online link they email you. They will store the card details and use your credit card details to charge unauthorised extra charges after the move without your consent. This is not right and we all know it’s poor customer service, but it seems to be legal as they mention it in the fine print, so they will get away with it, unless you contact your bank to try to reverse the charge.

4. Do not do the online self-assessment quote, instead ask them to do the assessment in person.

5. They may tell you after your move that the self-assessment was wrong and that they must charge at least £495 extra and up to £1000 as in our case. This also seems to be legal as it is mentioned in the quote.

6. Make sure they fully load each van. In my case, they didn’t fully load the 3 Luton vans quoted for and used the extra load to get the extra charge from us. This extra charge they will take from your card whether you want to pay it or not.

7. Insist on a face-to-face assessment so that they can do an accurate quote like other professional removal companies. I did my assessment based on physical assessments done by another removal company (that company couldn't accommodate my date in the end), but wemoveandclean still charged extra because they chose to spread the load over 4 vans.

8. Take photos of each van once it’s loaded and make sure they fully load it before closing the doors. I didn't take any photos and really regret it as I don't have proof of their poorly loaded vans or the damage to my sofabed.

9. Take photos of any damages immediately, whether you plan to claim or not. Take photos! There’s a good chance you won’t get compensated for damages otherwise. I'm still waiting for compensation.

10. Use only professional removers who are registered with the British Association of Removers https://bar.co.uk/.

11. Be prepared to be spoken to in an unprofessional, impatient and condescending aggressive manner, if you don’t know the answer to Lucas’s questions the first time.

13. All the good reviewers paid a fair prices of £900 and less for 4 bed houses and smaller. I was charged £2000 for a 5 bed which I was happy to pay, but then charged another £495 on top of that based on the fact that they did not load properly. They didn't communicate that there would be an extra charge on the day either. If they did, I would've reminded them that I have a week to move out of the house and that I can move the few extra things in my own van. Not worth and extra £500!!!!

I’m really happy with the work completed by Lucas and his team. I’ve never used a moving company before so at first I was confused on what to do, especially since I have a large furnished house and I wanted to move to a different city, but wemoveandclean made it really simple and effective. Everything was handled really well and they left me with no worries when I left everything up to them. Everyone was very nice and made sure that none of my furniture has been ruined, or scratched. This company has been very generous and has made me welcomed. What caught my attention is how careful they were with my precious belongings, and you could really see the care put into gently dismantling my stuff. Talking about the packaging, it was really smart how they used padded protective covers. I’ve never seen anything like that and I was surprised when they delicately packaged my appliances as it made me realise just how much effort this company put into making sure everything was done perfectly. When I had many questions to ask, they answered all of them well mannered without impatience or irritation. The best part is they arrived on time and on the date we scheduled. I’m sure there are over good moving companies out there, but seeing how great the service was, I can bet money that they are one of the best moving company in the uk. I am so grateful for all the time and energy spent into helping me moving houses and I would 100% recommended and use wemoveandclean again. :)

Very fast and friendly moving service in Newbury, took just 5 hours to move me from one 5 bed house to another. Would 100% use again. All the staff were very helpful and the whole process was done very professionally, with no damages to the property or my belongings. I highly recommend this removals company to anyone thats moving houses into or out of Newbury as they provide a genuine first class service. And if you are having a hard time deciding who to go for, I have nothing but good things to say. Thank you for the great service.

These guys are incredible. never have I before had the pleasure of dealing with such a professional removals company and I have sold hundreds of homes over the years. They really go that extra mile to protect your home and belongings with heavy duty furniture covers. I had 2 particularly difficult and extremely heavy items which wouldn't come through the front of the house but that didn't stop them negotiating the difficulty of bringing the items to the rear garden and up several steep steps, bearing in mind I am also in a mid terrace in Old Town.

Lucas, Simon and Damien you are an absolute credit to the profession and it was such a pleasure to meet you, even if you kept telling me off for being a bad supervisor ??. Thankyou for everything you did for me today and I shall be recommending you to all my purchasers when my company starts here building in Swindon next year and also to local estate agents. You are machines!!!
