These guys were well prepared and moved with urgency throughout the entirety of our move. They brought extra materials, since my husband and I did not have the time to properly package everything. They were very lenient about this and did not let it effect the productivity of our move, which was a relief. We thought that this would for sure become a big issue. They were very understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed having a thoughtful company like Volt Relocation be our moving providers. Bravo!

Full disclosure - my wife and I utilized a different moving company for our needs. BUT with that said, I wanted to write this review to speak about my experience of dealing with Herbert and his company through our communication via phone and email.

As many of you have probably experienced if you're looking at reviews on moving companies, you get bombarded with 10+ companies vying for your business. It's tiring, it's cumbersome, and you just wish you had a genie who would grant you that wish of transporting all of your possessions into your new place.

Herbert reached out to me and was very pleasant to speak with from start to finish. We spoke in detail about the needs my family required, and I would say it was a 100% thorough analysis of not only the inventory that we had, but also the extra services we may need (ie packing supplies, storage of items between the move, other unthought of potential costs etc).

He worked with me to get an estimate that would more than fit our needs for the move, as well as comped certain extras costs that other companies sometimes comp or sometimes charge for. He sent multiple emails recapping our conversations and was very responsive when either I called, or emailed out to him asking a question.

We chose a different moving company because it was what my wife requested (for certain reasons unrelated to our experience with Volt specifically) and of course I want to keep her happy and obliged. But I would extremely recommend someone who was considering Volt that they seem honest and reputable, and to utilize Herbert if you possibly can.

We have just moved from NY to OR. Once I knew we're about to move, I went online searching for a moving company. I didn't know what I should be looking for, so first I've searched tips for a long distance move, once I got the information (it should be a registered company, it mentioned the way the price should be calculated etc.), I have started looking for a reliable moving company.

I called Volt Relocation, The Manager explained some of what I needed to hear, and then highly recommended for me to ask for other moving companies quote. I got altogether 5 offers, from 5 different companies. In the end, we have chosen to work with Volt Relocation - despite the fact that they were not the cheapest offer.

The Manager was there for me at all times, he walked me through the process and was right there whenever I called. Moving is a huge emotional and not an easy thing to do, especially when there are children involved those were words, and indeed he was spot on.

On the day of the move, Manager himself came and monitored the initiation of the process; They are fearless, their work ethic is remarkable, and yet the gentleness of the way they were handling my household was admirable.

Once everything was on the truck, Manager took care of the cargo and brought it all the way to the new state. Here he got a local once again, 3 movers crew that worked professionally under He was personal supervision, who kept passing the boxes and delegate them to the right spot in the house, once everything was unloaded, they have reassembled all the furniture so now everything was back to normal.

All in all, as a family we had an excellent experience with Volt Relocation. From start to finish Manager was doing it with us, and was alert for all our family needs. I would definitely choose them again.

Our movers were incredibly efficient and professional. Really cool guys who carefully handled our belongings and got the job done really fast. I was nervous the whole week like I think most people are before a move. It feels like an insurmountable task and you can't see the endpoint. But I'm really glad we went with Volt Relocation. Even the rep that booked the move, was super helpful. Their guys were awesome and made it a breeze. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: We just used Volt Relocation for our move into our new apartment seven months later and they were amazing as usual. Manager made sure everything was quickly handled on the back end, and our movers The team were SO SO SO nice and fast. Super cool guys that made it a breeze. I really appreciate the quality of people and service we've gotten both times from Volt Relocation. Highly recommended.

Hired Volt Relocation for a move from Albany to Brooklyn. 3 bedroom apartment worth of furniture and boxes. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to keep a rapid pace loading the truck. I was happy I had some Manager on hand for them to enjoy as their demeanor and professionalism was appreciated. In a blink, they had blankets and stretch film wrapped around everything and away they went.

They drove safely over Highway and once we arrive at the destination they utilized the elevator efficiently to offload to my place on the 6th floor. They communicated often when they had questions and offered assistance whenever appropriate as we began unpacking. Everything was handled with care and nothing was dinged, dented or scratched on an accident which can be expected in this business no matter how careful one tries to be.

Get out of town! That's what I'm talking about, this company is outstanding. This company does exactly what they say they are going to do, which for some reason is unusual these days.

The very highest level of customer service, with great people, on time, and fun to do business with.

Use their packing services, absolutely everything they packed arrived in perfect condition. The packing crew was amazing they brought all the materials and we didn't have to lift a finger.

The loading crew was all great guys, The manager sent five men to get us loaded so it went quickly. Three of them drove the truck to NY and had us unload it in no time. They were very careful and courteous, well worth every penny.

We shopped around, not only were these guys competitive, they were a few dollars less and performed well beyond our expectations.

Don't even think about using a different moving company -- this is the one, I have checked it out for you and now you don't have to be concerned. Hire this company for your move.

I used Volt Relocation, and I have no regrets. This company has a fast response time, and I was really impressed with the amazing service my husband and I received from this company.

On our moving day, the movers showed up on time and ready to work. They were extremely careful when moving our furniture and they made sure it was wrapped really well with moving blankets. They all provided outstanding service.

I had two separate stops on my move, one to storage, and one to my home. They were able to accommodate my request with no hesitation. I definitely recommend this company, as I will definitely use Volt Relocation again the next time I decide to move!

Five star experience. I am now an ardent fan of this mover. The service was Awesome. I received helpful and courteous service, who arranged the order. They were pleasant to work with in every way, and made the move absolutely painless. The furniture arrived before I did. My son oversaw the unloading. He said that the unloading people were tremendously helpful and hard-working as well. So in all respects this was a five-star experience! I will recommend to anyone planning a move.
