I do not recommend

I chose Three Shires for my move in August 2023 because of the positive reviews and competitive price however I had a very bad experience and have only just been able to fix everything. They were friendly guys, but I felt they agreed to a job that was far too complex for them. It started poorly; they arrived well over an hour past the agreed time. I had sent them pictures of an IKEA wardrobe before the move, and they had confirmed they would be able to disassemble and re-assemble it. However, they were unable (see photo of how it was left). Although they knocked some money off their fee it has been very hard to find a joiner to come and do a half-finished job. The wardrobe also had marks left on it (See photos).

They had agreed to re-plumb the washing machine, however they did not do this correctly (see photos of the leaks on my kitchen floor). I ended up calling out a plumber and he confirmed the removals company had not positioned the hose correctly.

The desk drawers were also not attached correctly (see photo). They did however come back and fix this.

It has been a very stressful time, I just wished they would have said when I first made contact or even on the day when they arrived that the job would be too much for them so I could have gone with another company.

Diversity Thumbs Up!

As a gay, inter-racial blended family of 6, it’s rare to experience such excellent customer service and to feel completely at ease. We felt totally comfortable with this group of polite, down-to-earth, but always respectful, guys.

The price was very competitive, they worked tirelessly, didn’t moan about the two flights of stairs and treated my wife and I warmly, kindly and respectfully at all times.

This shouldn’t be a shock but it is and made our first hours in our new home so pleasant, especially as one of the reasons we moved was because of repeated racist and homophobic attacks on both my wife and step children.

When they pulled up we were nervous, worried about how we would be treated, it’s the first time we’ve used professional removers, and it won’t be the last. If they can bear those two flights of stairs again we would book 3 Shires in a heartbeat!!

Thank you for making a long day so much easier, for your professionalism and good humour, for not thinking you could ‘turn us’, for not making offensive jokes or having any air of an ‘ism’! In a world where being us can be exhausting you made that load a little lighter.

Highly recommend.

Fantastic service

I used Three Shires to move from Worksop to Sheffield. The quote was very reasonable and i had 2 vans with 4 men and the move was smooth and quick. They have all the protective equipment to make sure none of your property gets damaged and it is secured properly in the van. They are respectful with your property and don't throw things around. At the other end everything went exactly where i wanted it and if things needed to be taken apart to travel they were put back together again. I had 4 genuine lovely guys and i would recommend Three Shires to anyone and if i move house again they will be the only guys i would use.

Sheffield Move

I couldn't thank Three Shire anymore! Having had my removal van cancel the day before moving day at 4:30pm, Three Shire fitting me in. The lads turned up, had my house loaded with no hassle. After I received keys on my new property again all unloaded quick and with care. Thank you so much Three Shire! Legends!

Outstanding.

Would highly recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for value for money. I looked around for quotes to move from my one bedroom flat to a three bedroom house and these guys came out on top! They arrived on time, provided two vans and plenty of man power to get the job done in no time! All of my items were handled with due care and attention, and the guys went above and beyond what was expected. Thank You!

Best quote and price was for the job - not time or number of people.
Free quote at premises and spot on with size of van required .
Had blankets to wrap and strapped everything up.
Honest & polite - would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to pay over the odds .

Oustanding

Nick and his team are always hard working and conscientious. His prices are frankly more than competitive compared to others and the job gets done to just as good a standard.

I was never worried for any of our possessions as they were looked after and wrapped where required. The TS lads also dismantled and reassembled furniture for us so we didn't have to.

I wont use or recommend another removals company whilst Three Shires are about.
