From the start, this company was helpful & adaptable, as well as offering a reasonable quote.

Both sites had difficult approaches, the Welsh house being on a narrow unadopted road on a hillside & the Dorset house being on a main road with very narrow entrance. These problems were dealt with calmly & efficiently.

On the first day of removals, the three movers were on time, extremely polite, listened to my concerns & then just got on with the job. Everything was sorted & packed extremely well, with no breakages, scratches, etc. Beds were carefully dismantled.

It was planned as a two day job & on the second day, the men worked just as efficiently as on the previous day.

The delivery of the furniture & boxes went without problem. Furniture was reassembled carefully in the new home & all boxes were placed where requested. Nothing was scratched or damaged. The company also came to collect the empty boxes as prearranged.

I would definitely recommend Thomas Pardy Removals Company. They were brilliant!

If you're ever moving and want a stress free move never ever contact Thomas Pardy removals. They are rude, arrogant, don't care about you as the customer or your belongings and are just in a hurry to get the job done and even asked for money prior to completion of the work. They are a bunch of weasels!

I booked them for packing and moving a small two bedroom furnished flat, they came late for packing and were dissatisfied with having to do any packing all the way through my move ! They weren't helpful in any way and after loading half my stuff in to their can demanded that I pay them the full amount of money. They were a bunch of thugs. They literally bunged my stuff in to boxes with no proper labelling and half didn't know which things were in which boxes.

They wanted also to come before 8am in the morning to drop my stuff off to my parents place even after telling them my mum wasn't well and my dad left for work then. They were inconsiderate and rude and I felt intimidated and quite frankly bullied throughout my move.

Take my advice never ever book them ! Save yourself unnecessary stress!!

Our move was made so much easier thanks to the team at Thomas Pardy Removals. Having taken the time to research the situation at our new property, they made arrangements for two smaller vehicles to be used and turned up bang on time to collect bulky items to be stored for the day at their depot. On return, the team of three guys proceeded to to load the rest of our contents with speed, care and efficiency. Unloading at the other end was quick and hassle-free and we would like to say a big thank you to the guys for being so polite and for working so hard through the day.

This company was cost-effective, professional, helpful & dealt with many challenges on the day without any fuss.
At the last moment, we found out that we could not move in the garden stuff as planned the day before but David took it in his stride & laid on a third lorry to store overnight.
This was a big move for us as we had not moved for over 30yrs & despite it raining most of the day & it was the Thursday before Easter they made it look easy & in a friendly manner.
I do not hesitate in recommending this company & will use them again.

Totally agree with the other 1 star review on here and we also moved in 2014. The owners response gives an idea of what type of person he is.
The owner of the company harassed us with calls and texts all day long while waiting for completion.
When we eventually got our keys at 4 pm and opened the house mr pardy demanded that we pay an extra £100 as his men had waited for so long or else he would keep all of our possessions and take them back to his warehouse. Luckily we are not easily intimidated like a lot of people would be and said we would just call the police.
Eventually the two men working for him calmed him down and offered to unload our property from their van and leave it all in one room of the house, not taking it into the individual rooms as had been agreed.
Totally ruined the happiness of moving into our new home and it amazes me that the company is still trading with an attitude like that.

I cannot praise this company enough. After being let down by another company and having a day to move. I requested a quote online. Within the hour Dave came out did a quote and the next day he and his colleagues packed my three bed house and moved me to my flat. They worked like beavers and were polite and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble. They had me packed and moved by 2pm. I was very impressed and am now recommending them to all my friends. BRILLIANT COMPANY use them for your move.

Thomas Pardy and David in particular were absolutely brilliant all through our move from Southampton to Leeds. David visited our flat and assessed the items that would either go to our flat in Leeds or into storage and he advised us on the best way to complete the move. We took his advice of a 2-day move, which worked out perfectly. The team of four polite and hardworking men arrived on time and took all our belongings down two flights of stairs in a professional manner. All items were carefully taken care of and important or bulky items such as the tv and the settee were protected with clean blankets.
The loading took about 2 hours while our 15-month old son walked about the flat, sometimes getting in the way. The Thomas Pardy team were understanding and never once complained.
In Leeds, Thomas Pardy visited the storage facility and the new flat to assess accessibility so they were ready for the following day. The next day, they were waiting for us at the storage facility and after unloading half the items there, they then unloaded the remaining items into the new flat. Once again, they were courteous and careful.
We cannot thank Thomas Pardy enough for their help, advice and service. We would definitely recommend their services to anyone.
