Texas Move-It did an amazing job with our 5 bedroom ranch house.

Jack came about 2 weeks before to see the place and estimate the move, he took a look at all of our stuff and gave us a suggestions and tips on how to be more ready on the day of the move.

We started early at 8:00AM with no trouble or hiccups, the moving crew were dressed in uniforms and were very polite through the whole process, it was a 4 men crew and I was very impressed from the efficiency and experience these guys had, they've been clearly working together and doing this for a long time.

When it comes to moving companies it's hard to make a good choice, but when you hire Texas Move-It you can be positive you're in good hands.

I'm big on customer service, and this company Deserves all the applause!
My family was referred to Texas Move-It by The previous home owners, we usually use Another moving company, but our budget was pretty tight and we couldn't spend the amount big van lines quoted us.. so we scheduled a meeting with Becca and Jack [owners of texasmoveit).
They arrived to meeting on time, were very friendly and knowledgeable about moving houses, they gave us a lot of tips on how to make our move smoother and struck my wife and I as very professional.
Moving date arrived and like any other human, we were all stressed about it, 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival time we got calmer as Santos the driver called us to inform he's making his way to our house.
Santos arrived, we signed a contract indicating the start time and hourly rate, and they got to work right away, wrapped all our furniture with moving pads and shrink wrap, hauled all the boxes carefully to their truck, and very systematically, the movers stacked everything inside the truck, it looked very efficient as they utilize every single space of air.
Unloading was faster than loading, not much was to reassemble, but I was glad to see the crew had drills, allen ranches and more than they needed to set up our beds.
Overall i'm extremely happy with this company, I would recommend them to family, and every other person who looks for an honest hardworking moving company.
Ask for a meeting with the owners, they do it for free and you'll earn a lot from it.

Texas Move It moved me and my girlfriend's things and did a terrible job. They were three hours late, her furniture (sofa leg snapped off) and appliances were damaged and, after months of avoiding calls and texts, they/Jackie finally promised in writing to pay for part of the damages but never sent a check. If your move goes okay, then fine, but if it does not, be prepared to deal with an unlicensed mover that doesn't have a place of business or an office phone and is essentially non-responsive. I have all of the communication saved to back this up.

I don’t know how they got a high rating, but my experience is utterly unpleasant, so are many as far as I know. Jack quoted us a fair price, and provided their high rating I hired Jack and his crew to move us to San Antonio. The initial quote was for a three man crew, but on the day of the move, only two guys showed up. In hinder sight, that raises a flag, but Jack is good talker, and we did not have time to switch to another mover. At first, their crew worked hard, and everything was piled neat and clean. But after two hours these two guys started to mess our belongings by carelessly stacking them up. They shut the truck even after we repeatedly told them we still have things not loaded! Of course they could not load everything because they were not organizing our stuff! We ended up carrying these things downstairs by ourselves with these two guys just watching! I could not believe we hired these people!
The truck arrived at our new house in San Antonio at around 9pm. We were supervising them when they unloaded, and the first thing we noticed was that our outdoor table was damaged. One leg was so damaged that it detached from the table. That was a direct consequence of careless stocking. They tried to restore it but it was so damaged that even the two could not argue.
After our boxes and furniture were unloaded, they were supposedly to assemble our bed, dining table, and a crib. But these two spent half an hour but still could not assemble the crib, and they lost three screws to assemble our bed. We were speechless, and we just asked them to leave these so that we could assemble them ourselves the next day.
After everything was moved in, I called Jack. He of course said beautiful words, and promised to compensate me for all the damage, including any that we did not know yet. By the way, I paid him $90 beforehand for additional insurance (covering $10000 property loss). Despite all the unpleasant instances, I paid and tipped them.
The next day, I found our front door was damaged. A piece of bevel glass was hit when they moved in the furniture. I again called Jack, and he again assured me that he would pay for all the repairs including the total price of the table. I trusted him, which proved to be a huge mistake.
I subsequently contacted a glass workshop, and quoted for the repair. To save him some, I took my time and quoted with another workshop, and chose a cheaper one. I emailed and called Jack, and he assured me for the third time that he would mail me a check by the next Monday.
Ever since then, he vanished. I waited until the next Wed to contact him, but no response. He did not respond to my calls, text messages, and emails. I simply could not get hold of him anymore.
It’s been a month from our move. Reading the previous posts, I realize that I am not alone. He is just a talker that would eat his own words without hesitation. Not reliable at all. I thought he was a decent businessman, but I was clearly wrong.
I would not recommend them to anyone, because I think they are a business without decency and honesty. They just do not care. Reading the previous reviews, I realize my experience is not alone. By all means, I just do not understand why they get such a high rating. My lesson is that do not get fooled by Jack’s promises, they simply do not deserve trusting.
