Team Removals & Storage

Have moved house several times, this time was the most stressful. I chose Team as I used them for my last move. They were reasonably priced too. We had a few false alarms, exchange days and different completion dates. The office were so patient, while I was tearing my hair out, very kind, understanding and calming.

The day actually arrived and we exchanged and completed on the same day! The two guys were friendly, and helpful, they turned what could have been a fraught day into a calm one. Luckily we had no more hold ups, so unloaded all my worldly goods. They were very methodical, and careful with my things.

With the office and the removal guys, what was turning into an awful time was made so much easier.

Cant thank them enough and I can highly recommend this company.

Team Revovals have been amazing. Right from the initial and several following chats with Michelle and survey by Gary nothing has been too much trouble for them They have been understanding ,supportive and encouraging on what was an emotional move On the day the whole team were friendly and professional. They worked tirelessly. Even down to the granite saddle stones !!! I’m not sure where their energy came from but these for guys had endless supply of it .Nothing was too much trouble Use this company they are amazing nothing is too much trouble for this great Team . Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: £2000

The guys continually argued amongst themselves, swearing a lot, not very professional.
They paid no attention to protecting the floors in either house and it was a wet day. Several damages, not compensated for. Greasy, dirty hand marks up walls and all over furniture. As it was past 5pm on unloading they just dumped everything in the hallway & left.
On visiting the office I also found unprofessional, dirty and unpleasant with several dogs jumping up at me.
I would not use again. A very stressful day made more stressful. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Service cost: £1100

On moving day I gave instructions to the man overseeing the whole operation that my file case and 2 other boxes were not to be moved from my office and were clearly marked as such . Having to check in to the Doctors for a short while for my ongoing cancer treatment I returned after an hour to find my filing case and important papers gone . There were two different removal men at this time and the vans were packed or gone to storage .
No attempt was made to retrieve my document case which gave me many problems when buying my new house a few months later .

On moving from storage I engaged a different removal company who quoted a price that saved me over £200 .
I rang the office to speak with a lady to give advance notice of my intentions well in advance . When arriving at the storage office I dealt with by a woman who charged me over £50 extra for not giving written notice of my moving date even though the woman I spoke with in advance confirmed the written notice was not necessary . The woman who delighted in overcharging me was rude and ignorant and wanted to impress the other woman present at the time and teach me a lesson for using a different company for moving from the storage place .

I note that a review has been given by the owner in response to a previous negative review and he has given himself 5 stars ?
The overall impression is one of Greed and lack of care apart from making money .

This Company deserves a five star rating due to the pre-removal and on the day service it gave to us in our move from London to Newton Abbot. On what was to be a very difficult move due to the protracted financial arrangements by the buyer of our house. All credit to Team's office staff, who kept the arrangements between us and the person whose house we were buying 'on track', their efforts really appreciated.

On the removal day the service we received was 1st class. Arriving on time and in a slick efficient operation ,the house was cleared. With a 5 hour journey and a late payment by our buyers solicitor, the removal team still installed our furniture in the same efficient way that they started the day. Albeit that they were running late, through no fault of theirs.

Well done 'Team'. Thank you for a excellent service.

We have moved house over a dozen times in the last 20 years, and we had used lots of different removal companies to move us (usually the cheapest quote!!) but we have used TEAM REMOVALS for the last 4 moves, and we wouldn't use anyone else now.

They are always very good value for money - I still get other quotes just to be sure!!!

They are a great company to deal with, Michelle is cheerful, very efficient and patient. She has always gone out of her way to help us, in what is often a very stressful time.

Having cheerful, professional men helping on your moving day is essential, and I would like to thank Gary, Brad, Cole and Grant for being so helpful on our last move.

TEAM have moved us, and stored our furniture, and they have always taken the greatest care with our belongings.

I can't recommend highly enough.
