Tamworth is a historic market town of approximately 75,000 people situated on the rivers Tame and Anker in Staffordshire. The town has a long history and is famed for being the capital of Mercia, an ancient Anglo-Saxon kingdom. One particular point of interest unique to Tamworth is Tamworth Castle. This Grade I listed building was constructed by the Normans and remains one of the best preserved motte-and-bailey castles in England. Tamworth is also home to another historic building, Moat House, a stately home built in 1572 by William Comberford. This Grade II listed building is slowly being returned to its original splendour and is a popular attraction as a family of 18 rare black swans reside in its grounds. If history does not excite you, Tamworth also has 6 designated nature reserves: Hodge Lane, Kettlebrook, Tameside, Dosthill Park, Warwickshire Moor and Broadmeadow – all of which are lovely places to walk and relax. Tamworth evidently has lots to offer and as such it is unsurprising that reallymoving.com and our partners in removals have helped over 400 people relocate to the town in the last year alone.
At reallymoving.com our removal partners provide an expert competent service which you will find invaluable when moving home.
