Stephens did a great job.

Tracy and her colleagues were great, responding calmly to frequent possible changes of move dates and reassuring us it would happen! The moving team worked incredibly hard, and were very patient when there was some delay in the estate agent releasing the key. Follow up care and collecting boxes were great too. We highly recommend Stephens.

Leighton Buzzard to Milton Keynes removal 1.7.19.

A courteous visit to estimate price and number of vehicles. 4 brilliant guys arrived on the day, promptly, with great professional camaraderie. Total patience from all. They brought an extra van which was a good job, as it would not all fit on the 18 tonner. The team obliged in wrapping the odd items we could not wrap, and made light work of the bigger furniture. No damage. Excellent!
Competitive, kind, professional and a really pleasant team of guys. Thank you.

Absolutely shocking customer service loses them job.

Absolutely shocking treatment of my mother-in-law today by this rude company. They were chosen to help with her move, a stressful time for anyone. Chosen due to their statement that they can hold a provisional booking whilst contracts are set to be exchanged they would “endeavour to hold for you free of charge” until the booking is confirmed. Due to the buyer delaying in exchanging and by no fault of my mother-in-law whatsoever she receives a call today from a lady at Stephens Removals telling her that it’s “your job to chase it up!”. Then she pressured her into having to call back at midday to confirm a date. This date was not going to be confirmed today by any means. My mother-in-law in shock called back to complain only to be met with an immediate “she wasn’t rude to you!” statement from a colleague clearly in the same office space. Then as she tried to explain the situation and her position the lady at the end said “look do you want to cancel this booking”. And upset as she was by this she said yes and hung up. Subsequently her daughter called in a little later asking to speak a manager to complain further and was told there isn’t one available. This arrogance and attitude from this team at the end of the phone and the significant pressure they were putting on my mother-in-law in a stressful scenario as a house move I think is contemptible.

Hello there. We are very disappointed to read this and are terribly sorry if you think you have been mistreated in anyway, however we think unfortunately there has been a misunderstanding here. We do endeavour to hold provisional bookings for as long as possible without a deposit and without any form of commitment and we were doing this for your mother in law. We had spoken to her several times in the lead up to Friday to explain that we were getting extremely busy and that we would be needing confirmation as to whether she would be requiring the booking as soon as possible, bearing in mind that the booking was only 5 working days away. Unfortunately she did not want to commit and make the booking and wanted us to hold the provisional booking indefinitely which I'm sure you can appreciate just isn't possible. We like to think that we treat all of our customers very fairly and are very saddened and sorry to think that we have an unhappy customer.

Great Service!

I've never used a removal company before, but moving from a 4 bedroom house I knew I couldn't manage it myself.
I found Stephens on the internet after having contacted a couple of other companies that were rude and didn't call me back. I emailed Stephens and within 5 minutes I had a lovely lady call me back.
I moved yesterday and was very impressed. I had 3 lovely blokes on my doorstep at 8:30am! They were all friendly and polite. Other than stopping for a quick cuppa they didn't stop working (or singing!) all day. Very happy chaps.
They were organised and took great care in handling my personal belongings. They even helped my 2 young daughters arrange their bedrooms. They made my whole day stress free and patient.
I would definitely recommend Stephens to others!

Stephens were brilliant from start to finish.

Great removal company - they were clear and helpful, especially as our removal date changed a few times and they were always happy to accommodate us. The crew was friendly and hard-working, and nothing was damaged - not one thing.
I've moved several times over the last few years and it's a really stressful time but Stephens made it much much easier for me and my family.
5 star service - thanks, I recommend this company to everyone.

Brilliant move.

Our two chaps were fantastic, from packing us up the day before, to unloading everything in our new home. They were very polite, careful and lovely with our 8 month old son. They also took great care to leave us with everything we could need overnight so that moving day started smoothly. We have used Stephens twice now and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you!

Great service. 100% would use again.

Great service from quote through to moving in. Very good communication throughout and very competitive price. The team on the day were fantastic, they treated all our belongings with so much care, and wrapped everything, including the banisters and flooring, to protect them. They even dismantled and put back together the beds and a large wardrobe. I’d be still trying to put them back together!! And We had no breakages. I can’t recommend enough.

Being held to ransom.

Pick-up to store was perfect but Stephens now want double their money for removal from store! This was not made apparent at the time of quotation.We are now stuck with our furniture in store and without the financial means to retrieve it and Stephens attitude is take it or leave it. Note that this website does not allow accurate pickup or drop locations so I have had to insert 'Cambridge' just to get this far on the webpage.

Fantastic Service.

Our move was delayed a number of times, and the office team patiently kept changing the pencilled in dates until the move was finally confirmed.

The team who packed our old house and then moved and unloaded in our new house were great. They were polite and careful with all of our belongings.
