3 floor house to 2 floor.

These guys are great. Had I knew they would make moving day stress-less, I would have looked forward to the move rather than dread it. They made such a mammoth task seem so small, our beast of a sofa slid out narrow doorways and monster size wardrobes floated up stairs.

I felt at ease with this team and
Mike Beeby has integrity. I will continue to recommend him to anyone needing to move anything anywhere. Honest, reliable, hard-working and offers reasonable rates.

Not impressed.

Turned up a little late. Seemed to rush and didn't follow all our instructions. They packed their van poorly and were not able to take all our items.  Our stuff turned up and delivered without any damage but we were generally disatisfied with the way they delt wit our move. They were also more expensive than other quotes we received on Shiply.com Unlikely to use them again.

It is always disappointing when a customer is not completely happy with our services. We always strive to provide 100% customer satisfaction, after all that is the only way we can grow as a business. If we make mistakes or break anything then I would hold my hands up and take responsibility, I always have done.

That said I believe the comments by Ashok Menon are untrue and have no relation to the move that took place. This is not surprising since at no point during the move was Ashok present, it was his wife who was there organising everything.

Ashok states that we were late, yes we were about 10 to 15 minutes late, no more.

Ashok says we didn’t follow instructions. We have no idea what this means. We took everything his wife wanted us to take when we arrived plus some additional boxes at the end that she wanted added to the load (there was some space left over). At the other destination we put everything in the rooms she wanted them to go in.

Ashok says we stacked the van poorly and weren’t able to take everything. Ashok wasn’t there so he wouldn’t know. We moved a jumbo Luton van that was totally full of furniture from Birmingham to Bicester near Oxford without damaging anything, I would say that is evidence the van was stacked properly. Nothing was left behind according to his wife. She did a final check, added some extra boxes and away we went.
Is £325 expensive to move a van full of furniture 65 miles? I don’t think so. We are not a man and van service off Shiply or Anyvan that isn’t insured and doesn’t have a reputation to worry about. We are fully insured and we always turn up. Not turning up is never an option for me. It also goes without saying that we are hundreds of pounds cheaper than a big removals company.
I have no idea why Ashok would be dissatisfied with the move. We moved everything his wife asked us to without damaging anything and throughout the move his wife was laughing and joking, she seemed happy enough with us. Clearly something has gone on between Ashok and his wife after the move but I don’t know why that should mean we have to receive a mediocre review for what was a completely smooth move.

Moving house.

This company was extremely professional and provided a fantastic service. Mike was patient with all my questions and I was really impressed with his company. I would recommend Small Movers to anyone that needs to move house. I went with the option where the team packed up everything in my house. There were no breakages or damage and the utmost care was taken with my belongings.
The team packed up my 3 bedroomed house in a matter of 2 hours and loaded everything onto the van.
My belongings were kept in storage for a month and a half and then delivered to Scotland.
 I was really impressed at every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble for Mike.

Efficient and price competetive company.

The moving team arrived early (after contacting me) for an afternoon move.  The van was loaded quickly and efficiently, and there were no delays on delivery.  The team were friendly but professional.  The unload was again quick and efficient without any breakages.  An excellent service provided for a very competetive price - I would recommend to anyone wanting a mover in the Birmingham area.

Excellent Service.

We can highly recommend Smallmovers to anyone thinking of moving.  We were very impressed by their speed and efficiency in loading and unloading our belongings with care.  The team were very friendly and professional.  We were so grateful that they dismantled and re-assembled our wardrobes and beds.  A fantastic service and would have no hesitation in recommending them or using them in the future. .

Fantastic service.

We would definitely highly recommend Small Movers - an excellent level of service was provided.  They were quick to respond to any queries, very reasonably priced and were polite and professional.  Emptying a 2nd floor flat (with no lift) wasn't easy but they made it look so and took great care with carrying everything down 3 flights of stairs.  They were also willing to be flexible which was great for us as we were due to move a week after our baby's due date and so there was a chance that we wouldn't be able to move on the planned day if we had a late arrival!  A fantastic company.

A fantastic experience.

Small Movers just completed a local move (Walsall to Walsall) and I must say I was VERY IMPRESSED. To give you some background, we were moving with an eight week old baby, and with some particularly large furniture and yet the whole day went smoothly and without a hitch!
Mike and his crew's professionalism are a credit to the removals industry. They turned up on time, followed our requests to the letter, were courteous, polite and earnest in all that they did. They started at 8 and were finished about 5pm. In the whole time I think the crew maybe took ten or fiteen minutes to have a short break.
In my opinion they also went the extra mile. Mike said that the service he provided was standard..well all I can say is that whilst it might be standard for Small Movers, what he does is NOT standard across some of his much larger competitors. Dismantling and reassemly of furniture, putting things not only in the room but also where in the room where we wanted are just a couple of examples.
I would really say that of you're not sure who to go with and they cover your area, give Mike a call because they did a FANTASTIC JOB for us.

Small Movers.

A really excellent little company that I would whole-heartedly recommend.  Very professional pair of guys who arrived on time, made no fuss loading the van, or then at the other end, and a very reasonable price.  They are very good for anyone moving a small property, and made the move as stress free as possible.  Give them a go, I'm confident that you will not be disappointed.
