Sittingbourne is found in the Swale district of northern Kent and is becoming an increasingly attractive place to live. With trains into London, and new developments being built in the area, Sittingbourne is growing outwards, whilst still retaining its historic and pretty town centre. In the last 12 months alone, 350 people have moved into the area with the help of reallymoving.
Reallymoving recommends two types of housing survey, both of which the Chartered Surveyors in the area will be able to offer. The first is a standard HomeBuyer Report, which is designed for newer conventionally built properties like the new developments going on in the town. The second type is a Building Survey, a more comprehensive housing survey that will check things like the structural soundness of a property. If you are moving into a house that is particularly old or may have experienced flood damage in the past, then it is worth getting one of these. Considering the Swale district is low lying and near the coast, this might be the case for some properties.
With reallymoving you’ll be moved into your new home in no time at all and might have even saved some money. Whether visiting the historic Light Railways around Sittingbourne, which are a great day out, or taking a stroll around Milton Creek Country Park, there are plenty of activities to do in the area to keep you busy.
