Service

Service was great and friendly. I think the company would do better by their customers if they ask about language. I do not speak Spanish. The helpers also spoke Spanish. Also when the placed my goods in trailer they were informed several times in Spanish at trailer depot to secure my belonging. The helpers did not do this and when depot manager asked me about it-I had no answer because I didn’t understand the directions in Spanish

I also think your minimum job rate for hours is too high and should be given money back if job is less than 3 hour designated

Poor experience and lies

Where to start... I am a mover by trade and when doing long distance move I hire local help through different platforms. This was definitely one of the least professional service I encountered as well as the response from the owner.

Even though I kept in touch with the owner throughout the day they were late by almost 20mns. To top that up one of the two helper was reaking of alcohol and buzzed. His condition led to have him being either full of energy or moving slow...as well as spending more time talking than working. Between the 3 of us it was a 2 hour unload that took 3 hours therefore another $130 cost and $40 each as tip. But the most distressing part was that one item in particular got damaged to the point that it needed to be replaced. 2 side board of a queen size bed got totally crushed both of them on the same corners. They traveled 2800 miles packed in protective covers laying on top of a matress. To end up in the bedroom broken. Rudy, the drunk helper, is the one responsible but never stood up for it! As well as the owner of Rigos. Her statement is that it was not packaged/protected during the trip (I packed them myself) were store improperly (laying flat on top of a matress 6 feet high with nothing on them) and stating that they took pictures of it that proves their statement but refuses to send me their proof of such. Last, and this is just my professional opinion, if you see something so obviously broken and you are not at fault why not not telling instead of trying to hide it by placing it in the bedroom.??

Overall disappointed and would not recommend the hiring of this company even they could be providing good services if something goes wrong they will not take responsibility for it.

Good Afternoon Eric. Thank you for your review but you are not being honest and we can prove it. ABOUT YOU SAID WE WERE LATE. For starters your appointment was at 6 P.M. When we called to confirm your appointment we asked you if we could have started earlier than 6 P.M. but since you were coming from another side of the country you weren't sure of what time you were going to arrive. The day of the move you you called us around 3 P.M. to let us know you were going to arrive to your destination at 5 P.M. so we had let you know that we were going to let the dispatcher know about your arrival time. Our movers arrived at 5:15 P.M. that is 45 minutes before your appointment. ABOUT THE ALOCHOL SMELL your job was the last job of the day. Our workers did have a job before you and usually the jobs would be about 3-4 hours long. Their job is physical work so that is why the workers had a smell because they are sweating all day and the smell is different on every person, We have cameras inside our trucks and none of our employees drink alcohol while are working otherwise they can loose their job immediately. If you think our workers were slow it is because they have to do the job properly done to avoid any damages. At this point you are claiming about the $40 tip, tips are 100% optional. You did not have to tip. I understand you were trying to get your damaged items replaced but one of our policies is to take photos of every job and we have pictures of your job and the stacking was very poor, some items has blankets but none of the items had plastic wrap. We are more than happy to send all the pictures to you if you need them. As you said, you drove 2,800 miles, that is basically a 3-4 days drive, the items inside the truck are moving and shift during 2,800 miles. We are not asking you to remove your review but just be honest with your statement.

Great service for a great price!

Our moving crew was fantastic! Anthony, Oscar, and Alex worked hard the entire time and loaded the big truck very well. They were careful with our things, and I’m confident that we will have little to no damage because of the care they took. I underestimated the time that we’d need them, but thankfully they were able to stay long enough to complete everything (of course I paid for the extra hours, which is expected and fair). They were true professionals, and I’m grateful for their help today!

Beware!!!!

Owner is extremely unethical. Severe damage to my apartment door from moving cart broke multiple glass items. Moving team was extremely slow and overall move took 12 hours and cost thousands of dollars (moved from 1 bedroom apartment). Offered me $25 for almost $1000 damage. Absolutely do NOT recommend. Will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Our experience

We used Rigos to move stuff from my Grandfather's house to my Mom's apartment. I cant even even express enough how happy we are that we went with Rigos. Their price was very reasonable and they showed up right on time and were tremendously helpful and professional. They really made our task easier for us and were worth every penny of the fee and then some. Thank you so much Rigo's for your help, it was truly a pleasure!

Rigos Moving Company is Reliable

I booked them for unloading our stuff after moving from La Quinta. Rigos Moving is very reliable. As soon I booked them, someone called to confirm the time of the arrival of the movers. They adjusted according to my availability. When the two movers arrived, they immediately got down to work. They were very quiet but worked very fast. They were very careful with the items, and we really appreciate that.
