Removals Islington

Moved from flats within North London. Customer service team was thorough when talking over the phone about my move. They gave me a good price that wasn't fixed, so I was charged extra when the removal took almost an hour longer than predicted. The removal team were polite and helpful; they took their time when it came to wrapping up or dismantling my furniture, but I guess this is a good thing since nothing was damaged. They clearly highly experienced as they were able to fit everything within the van without needing a second trip or a second van. Overall, it was a steady and well-done move.

Service cost: £210

We recently mover from Edinburgh to Vienna using VanOne Europe. The same Vanone just the European branch. The price seemed reasonable so we decided to us them. Once we had our delivery we soon discovered several of our items were damaged, broken and beyond repair. We asked Michael if we could make a claim but his response was that he was not interested in listening to our concerns questioning the authenticity of our concerns so he demanded proof. We sent photos but he refused saying his undisclosed insurer was not going to compensate as there was no witness that the damage occurred during transportation. He refused to give us the name of the insurer although it was supposedly our insurance as paying customers. Michael is a great talker and initially sounds genuine and interested in giving a high standard of service. However, he is not interested if /when the service delivery is poor or if you disagree with anything. We will report him to the Trading Standards and ask them to investigate his poor after service and insurance policy.

Do not use this company, broke priceless gift, still has not been replaced we moved nearly 2 months ago, rip you off with extra charges and fees by causing deliberate delays making the customer pay, threaten you with court action. Unprofessional and useless when it comes to packing! Deliberately mis-calculates the time needed so can charge extra. Email to say they will deliver packing materials before the packer arrives, never happened, packer brought with them, meaning it took longer to pack as these boxes could have been assembled before, but then charge you delivery for this.

I hired this company and explained to them that I had heavy items of mirrored furniture to move which were very heavy and a sofa which would need dismatling.
One piece of my mirror furniture was broken within 5 minutes and the removal man came in and said, you know you have a dink on one of your piece of furniture don't you - THAT WAS A LIE THAT FURNITURE WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION UNTIL THEY ARRIVED. Despite being assured they could dismantle the sofa they didn't know how to, moved it as it was and ripped both sofas, broke another piece of furniture, broke the lamp outside the flat. Basically the people they sent, whilst being very nice, were not up to the job - simple.
