Removal Heroes cancelled my int'l move - Look elsewhere.

In August we had 7 removal companies come round to our home in Kent (England) to provide estimates.

Removal Heroes seemed a little less professional at the start--the removal guys came instead of a salesman (not a minus, per se). They were quite good to answer follow up questions over the phone and came in lower than other companies, while providing a self-packing, direct move (our preference). We agreed to proceed with them. As we both work full-time, travel internationally for our jobs and were undertaking an international move, we requested boxes about 16 days before the planned move date.

Then, they were slow to respond to confirm stopping by with the boxes and other packaging materials. The day before we had requested them, I rang them up again, left a message and an email. Late that night and without any prior indication of a problem, I received an email saying that they were no longer able to carry out our removal:
'Unfortunately the previously secured back load that was arranged to partner your removal has been canceled therefore meaning there is now no longer a vehicle available to complete your removal. The director has given me the option of offering a new quotation that allows for your removal to continue with another removal heroes vehicle or pass your details onto another removal company that may well be able to complete your move to Geneva.'

In short, they were cancelling our removal unless we paid them more than they had already quoted us and confirmed via contract..about 2 weeks before our international move. Thankfully, our second choice of company--Express Removals--jumped in, able to offer us a removal date only a week later than planned.

Removal Heroes is also NOT a BAR member; I now understand a bit better why.

David and the team at Removal Hero's were utterly fantastic! Our move wasn't a straight forward one but David helped us find the right solutions to fit out budget, requests and dates as well keeping in contact with us throughout the whole process and especially over the removal period. A real warm and friendly company. It was a pleasure to have them help sand we would definitely recommend them.

Just and only the best removal company.

Dave organised all my removal with professional knowledge and attentive manners taking care of the human side of our needs. On time he sent 3 polite, professional, amazing , qualified guys to my door including his amazing brother John. They dismantled and moved my furniture in no time from Kent to Hertfordshire and I felt their passion for what they do and their great heart dealing with customers. Just few of the well hearted people in the world. Price really amazing as all of them from the minute one til the end of the job. Hope that their business and their people will last forever to make customers delighted as us. I will use them again and I will recommend them to everybody which have to move. Unforgettable guys and service. Thank you. This is not an exaggeration, try them and you will see how the words “ stress free” will make sense to you!!

Fantastic service at an amazing price!

Just had a cumbersome super king size mattress taken away for disposal for a flat price of £40. I'm 4 months pregnant and they were amazing from start to finish. So easy to book (I was unnerved it was that easy) and they showed up in their uniforms, really nice guys and job done - professional throughout. Will be recommending and will definitely be using again!

Great service, reasonable cost, great contact.

I used Removal Hero’s today to move a large children’s play house from Broadstairs to Birchington.

Arrived on time, really helpful and took care of everything, all loaded, moved (without damage) and unloaded where required in the hour . I will be using again, great knowledge of removals too.
