12 years ago we emigrated to Cyprus. Peter Mortons team packed us up and off we went. Our shipment arrived safe and sound with no problems what-so-ever.

After we decided to return to the UK, we again chose Peter and his team without hesitation. This time we would need storage as we had at the time no permanent address in the UK and were going to live with our son and his family. After 6 months we finally had a new home to go to. With just 48 hours notice, Jess and the team organised removals for my son and delivered my items from storage [including sack barrow with bow saw] to our forever home.

I cannot thank all the guys and the team enough for going above and beyond on a very difficult and stressful move. Well done, gold stars all around.

Our house was surveyed by an employee of Peter Morton Removals, and after an extended walk through of what we need to be shipped overseas, we were advised on the size of the container, given a quote and signed our agreement. We specifically asked for 2 visits - the first one to be for collection of all needed contents from the house; and a second visit for final furniture collection and preparation of container for departure. Needless to say, this did not go to plan. On the scheduled first visit to our 5-bedroom house, only 2 employees showed up two hours late (which we didn't complain about) and sure enough not all needed contents were collected - they couldn't even clear the kitchen contents. That called for a seconds contents collection visit, which we schedule some 10 days later for them to collect the rest of the contents. PMRemovals were notified that we were departing Cyprus and wouldn't be able to be present at the second visit, however we would arrange for someone to give them access to the house and be present at that time. Second visit happens and again not all contents were removed. Again, we didn't complain about that fact, instead we were hoping that everything would be collected at final visit for furniture removal. On the final visit, happy to report, everything that was desired and discussed by the surveyor was taken, apart from our Master bedroom furniture (a king bed and 3 huge chests of drawers) as we decided we didn't needed, which we thought sure enough would leave plenty space and container would be on its way. A day after final collection I am notified by the person in charge of letting PMRemovals employees in my house that some boxes were returned with the explanation that there was no room in the container!!!!! The same container that they advised us on the size of it and said we would have plenty of room for anything else we might need to add!!!

SIMPLY INEXCUSABLE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We called to ask them how we can get our possessions overseas - we were told it will cost us 2 or 3000 euros!!! and that WE WERE RESPONSIBLE to pay the bill... for their negligence...We feel cheated and doubt very much that we will ever use or recommend Peter Morton Removals to and from Cyprus!!!
