Initially Johnny was brilliant, helpful, great price, very calm and relaxed. Move day arrived and all seemed to be going well, but it took far longer than expected. I had paid for dismantling and reassembly of furniture, and the lads ran out of time to reassemble any furniture. I was told they would return the next day to reassemble the furniture. That never happened though and since then they have ignored all calls and messages. I can't unpack anything as have no wardrobes or storage furniture assembled to put it in to so the house is in chaos. 2 beds are partly assembled but integral parts have been left out, so unsafe to sleep in. I am unable to assemble myself due to disabilities. Very disappointed in the refusal to respond to calls or messages to sort this out and complete the move. It has marred what would have been a great move and meant I'm unable to give a good review.

I have moved 14 times in my life and this company was by far the best. Thoughtful about your things as they move them, put extra effort into taking my garden pots which a lot of removal companies would have refused, friendly to be around and good value. I would highly recommend them and as a single woman who finds it hard to lift heavy items it was extremely helpful that they stayed behind to offer to move things around the room after everything was in to get it just how I like it. Excellent service and thank you for your hard work

I have used Johnney and his team to moves two houses in the last month and both times the service has been exceptional. Both days were preceded the day before with a courtesy call just to put your mind at rest and both days the team turned up on time as promised . Nothing was too much trouble , including taking a large piece of furniture back down stairs when left by a previous owner. The service was competitively priced and the quoted figure was always adhered to . I would highly recommend Johnney and his friendly team to all and if I ever have to move again then I will certainly be giving them a call .

The removal day arrived after a final curtesy call the night before from the owner. All ready to go with a prompt arrival of the owner on D-Day with a reassuring smile.

The team were completely professional, efficient and good humoured: This was the easiest move I have ever experienced, Not one moment of stress thanks to the orchestration of Johnny the boss keeping his team safe and happy. Great customer service, highly recommended for any removal.

Great experience of a move from Suffolk to Sussex with Smooth Moves. I have nothing but positive feedback on all elements of the service, great communication, reliable, punctual and careful with items. From start to finish a real relief to have these guys doing my move. Johnney is a true gentleman, he made me feel that the move was in safe hands, which it was. The team were on time, polite, courteous and respectful of my property and belongings. Their packing was swift and efficient, loading the van was a work of art, and nothing was too much at the other end. Well worth every penny to have them pack everything up, I've never been so relaxed on a moving day! Thank you Johnney and your delightful team!
