The general manager came to my house promising delivery of sea cargo goods in safe condition within 10 days. To my dismay got it in 2 months delay. What was the use of telling lie? He was polite but behind the scene the trick was saving on insurance. The damaged goods are in no shape to be repaired. The delicate goods display cupboards, glassware smashed and dangerous to even handle. After lots of biddings he gave the landing bill, leave alone the contract and insurance. The trick he played is , he sounded very generous by offering 1 thousand QAR discount. Its worth taking other cargo services and insisting for every detail and paper works. I have recorded pictures of damaged items including metallic trays. Cargo arrived very late than promised. On his advise I booked full container and paid him nicely, even gave him free gifts-so that he does a perfect job. To manage my stay back in India I had to spend heftily on furniture and essential kitchen items.

Don't trust him at all as he will add to flavor by saying -don't worry of customs, unloading, assembling. The most important part of story starts when he didn't send all items and start asking additionally for services after landing quoting inability to take accountability of custom clearance, transport and assembly at destination despite having charged already before.

Many are missing. If requesting him to send them , answer came pay for storage charges and another cargo.
