Lymm is a friendly village community in the Cheshire countryside. The impressive Lymm Cross monument marks the centre of the historic town which is home to many listed buildings. The high street area is a designated conservation area due to the beautiful, period architecture such as the terracotta town hall. The Bridgewater Canal flows right through the town centre and provides the perfect setting for a number of waterside cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Golden Fleece is the perfect spot for a drink by the canal. While if you want something a little more upmarket, Bowden’s serves fresh tapas and is just on the other side of town.
If you prefer being active, Lymm has plenty to offer. There are several lovely green spaces and parks in and around the town. The Lymm Dam is a popular location for long walks in a peaceful setting. The village is also home to several impressive sports clubs, including a rugby team and a golf course. Leek is not far from the bustling metropolis of Manchester, making it close enough for commuting or days out in the city. Make sure you find a quality conveyancer with reallymoving if you’re planning a move in the Leek area.
