London Man Van

Booking online and paying London-man-van.com is simple.  However, a day after the booking was made and the cash taken (fortunately I used PayPal) an email appeared saying that the 'requested' booking time was not available and that I should contact them to re-arrange.  I have tried this but received no response.  I have also received no response to emails asking for a refund. 
I could also not find a contact address on the company website.  Nothing in the Terms and Conditiosn.  This has made me suspicious.

A friend had recommended this company to me as they'd used them for a small moving job previously with no problems. I prepaid in advance via their website for a simple job moving some furniture. I received an email the day before telling me, with no further explanation or apology, that my booking had been cancelled, meaning that I had to find a replacement company at short notice. I emailed the company twice to request a refund of my pre-payment, to which I never got a reply, and only got my money back by opening a claims case on Paypal. I strongly suspect I would never have got it back if I hadn't chosen to pay via Paypal and the extra security it offers.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! They never turned up for a job to move our stuff from storage to our new flat even though they confirmed the booking when I made it a week prior. When I rang the helpline repeatedly it went straight to answerphone everytime. This left us stranded in the rain with our stuff for two hours until we could find another removal company willing to take a job on at such short notice. When I rang up to complain about this the next day they told me they had tried to ring me (they absloutley hadn't - my phone never left my side and I checked it every 5 minutes) and that it was my faut for not answering. They then hung up on me. .

MY ADVISE ----DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! They never turned up for a job to move our stuff from storage to our new flat even though they confirmed the booking when I made it a week prior. After being 45 min late I called them up to see what's going on and was told they will be running 2 hours late!! I cancelled and found alternative driver, which cost me a lot more as it last last minutes. This morning, when I rang up to complain and get a refund, I get a rude salesperson telling me 3 times that he cannot deal with my query and will pass my deatils and hangs up befoer I even give him a name and phone number!! Makes me so angry!!

Do not book this company. They are unreliable and very unprofessional.
I booked this company online for a London to Brighton job. Since the email with the booking confirmation stated I would be called 30 minutes before the driver picks me up, I called them after I hadn't heard from them until 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival. Only then they told me that the driver would be an hour late. An hour later the driver called me informing me that his car broke down. When I tried to call the office they did not answer the phone. The phone was only answered after I hided my phone number. In the end they offered me to hire a 3rd party company for the job. When I asked for a discount for the hassle they caused, they refused. Moreover, they said it will probably be more expensive as two hours would be not enough time to load/unload ten boxes and to drive from South London to Brighton (its usually a 50 min drive). Luckily, I hadn't paid them upfront.

Well, very poor service.
When I booked online, the only payment was with paypal. I had to estimate the time and pay in advance. Paid for 2 hours and 30 mins - 85£.
The day of the moving, the van arrived 45 mins late. We fortunately finished the moving in 1 hour and a half. I called them to receive a refund for the 30 mins (because the minimum required for the service is 2 h) and they told me that nothing could have been refund and that the delay is normal because each service estimates a time, so it can be more or less for each costumer, plus the traffic to go from a place to another.

Very unprofessional. Never again.
