STAY AWAY! This company understaffs their moves, has horrible customer service, extremely poor professionalism, and terrible communication. I originally booked this company after reading the 5-star reviews. Patrick came over for an in-person estimate a month and a half before the move and we agreed to a binding estimate. This company was only responsible for moving furniture. My husband and I had previously packed ALL boxes which we loaded into a U-Haul ourselves. The day of the move, the movers arrived 2.5 hours late. The reason for their late arrival was due to "mechanical issues" and for not having all the appropriate packing gear. When they eventually arrived at our house, the truck began leaking oil and did not have tools to break down furniture. They had to leave for a second time to get tools and we had to wait for a mechanic to work on the truck. They could not give us an estimate on how long it would take for the truck to be fixed and were not apologetic for the delay in start. In fact, they asked if it would be possible for them to bring up our items the following day. We insisted that the items be brought from KY to OH that day as they had plenty of time from booking to get ready for the move itself. An additional FOUR hours later, the 2 movers began packing a new truck that was delivered. Our move was supposed to start between 8-9 am and the movers did not start packing until 4 pm. The movers were done packing our things by 7:30pm. Before driving to Ohio, one of the movers actually took the moving truck to his house to let his dog out!!! Upon arrival to Ohio, two of our items were broken. They didn't finish unpacking the truck until 4:30 AM! Patrick, who we had booked the move through, did not answer his phone when we tried calling him multiple times for answers. Understandably upset by the delay, I finally got ahold of someone at the office named Aaron. He was incredibly rude and told me “Things happen" and informed me I would not be offered the discount I was asking for after knowing what had happened all day. I asked if I could speak to the owner of the company, John, and Aaron told me he would not be available until Monday. I texted Patrick on Monday asking for John to call me and I was told John was too busy to talk. After demanding a refund multiple times, they finally agreed. John never contacted me which just shows the lack of care for their customers. After it was finished, the final bill was actually $100 more than the original even though the estimate was binding. I was told there was a fee for paying with a credit card after the fact and this was never told me to before booking. Bottom line, stay away! This company doesn't even deserve a 1 star review.

I couldn't be more happier with the outcome of Kentuckiana Moving, LLC and the crews. Tony, Ray & Jeremy did an amazing job. Tyler & Patrick facilitated this move from beginning to end. Estimate was correct, packing was correct, and the logistics of the move were properly coordinated. When Tony and his crew showed up. They got straight to work. Labeling boxes, putting them in certain rooms to be put into the truck. When they started wrapping furniture and moving it to the truck is when I knew I had some amazing guys working with us. The truck was packed with not any space to spare. When getting to the unload, we looked in the truck and nothing had moved or shifted. Nothing broken, everything intact. We have never hired movers before but have heard many horror stories from friends. We facetimed a few of them to brag, which one of them was moving again in a month. They immediately called their office and set up a move. We couldn't have been happier with this process from start to finish. Thank you all!

I wanted to give them a 5 but I honestly dont plan on using their service in the future. They sat my mattress on the ground while moving it.. with nothing on it. When they delivered my things to my new home, no one screwed my mirror back onto the dresser, the same as they had taken it apart. A piece of that mirror came apart. (I have no idea how to reattach it.) My tote was damaged. And I gave them my washing machine and dryer, but forgot I'd left maybe 4 pieces in the washing machine. I messaged and called the driver to see if I could meet him but he didnt answer. This was maybe about 10 mins after he left. I actually didnt hear from him until days later when he asked for a review.. I gave them the washing machine and dryer because I already had one at my new place, was last minute with trying to sell it,and figured they could make a profit off mine. I didnt really care but the least they could have done was let me get those few items out of it... They claimed the clothes had mold on them but I hadnt washed them yet..... so Im not understanding the source of water.. Also, while they were loading the truck, I forgot that I'd packed up my screwdriver and didnt take my cameras down so I asked one of the movers if I could use his. He did but then told me that Im going to get him yelled at by the driver if I took down the other one. It was four screws. The guy was nice but his statement only validated the tension between all 3 of them, which was something I wouldnt pay for again. That alongside the under the breath comments being made made me feel like my $4200 was an inconvenience for them. Nonetheless, my stuff is moved but I plan on going somewhere else next time. I do wanna shoutout [NAME EDIT] though because his customer service is the entire reason I booked.

UPDATE: [NAME EDIT] the driver texted me to argue about this review. It's very unprofessional. Im not sure if he meant to send his lonnngg paragraph about how I'm "dirty, pressed" and relocated to "run away from a guy" but it's not what I signed up for. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER AGAIN.

UPDATE: I spoke with the owner and manager and both were very concerned and wanted to "make things right" and did. I appreciate the caring nature they both displayed and their concern for their customers. For that, I'll update the rating to a 3. I appreciate their concern, display of character, and how they represented their company. Thank you both for ur concern.

UPDATE : I WAS JUST CONTACTED BY [NAME EDIT] THE OWNER AT ALMOST MIDNIGHT ABOUT THIS RATING..... HE WANTS ME TO TAKE IT DOWN. I WILL NOT. I CHANGED IT TO A 3 STAR AFTER SPEAKING WITH HIM EARLIER AND BEING PARTIALLY REFUNDED. I DO NOT KNOW WHY THIS COMPANY THINKS THEIR BEHAVIOR IS PROFESSIONAL ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE INITIAL RATING WAS A 2-STAR RATING BUT WAS CHANGED TO 3... IF THIS COMPANY CONTACTS ME AGAIN ABOUT THIS RATING I WILL BE FILING HARASSMENT!!! FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO GO WITH!!!! AND JUST FOR THE RECORD I NEVER TOLD ANYBODY I WOULD BE DELETING ANY REVIEW. I WAS BEING GRACIOUS CHANGING THIS TO A 3 STAR WHEN MY TRUTHFUL EXPERIENCE WAS A 2 NOW A 1 BECAUSE WHY TF AM I STILL BEING CONTACTED ABOUT THIS AT A QUARTER TIL MIDNIGHT!!! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN!!!!! I DEFINITELY THOUGHT THE DISGUSTING TEXT MESSAGE THAT [NAME EDIT] SENT ME WAS JUST A BAD APPLE BUT THE WHOLE COMPANY IS UNPROFESSIONAL ATP. Awesome service, from my initial call to schedule our move, until the move was completed. Tyler helped me schedule the move and kept in touch with us until moving day.

The moving truck arrived exactly on time. A team of three managed the move, AJ, Ro, and Sam. They were polite, hardworking, and helpful to any requests we made. This made moving easier than we expected. A well deserved 5-STARS to the moving team.

The ambiance is very welcoming and charming once you speak to the moving advisor. I didn't hesitate in hiring Kentuckiana, they kept me informed on everything before and during the process of my move. Hard working team they have, they came on time and stayed within my estimate limit which I appreciated completely. Jonathan was very helpful and took charge of most things. They had no problem taking apart our beds and reassembling them in the new house. Nothing was damaged which was a plus. We are very happy with this company. I told my sister-in-law about it as well since she will be moving soon, she is going to look into it as well.
