Excellent service

The whole experience was amazing. From the staff in the office, to the movers themselves. At the start we had lots of problems when it came to our completion date but everyone was sympathetic and helped in every was that they could.

On the day of our move the movers were very prompt and got there early getting straight to work loading the vans. We also had problems on that day getting our keys but the guy were happy to stay until everything was sorted and we were all in the new house.

I couldn’t have asked for better movers. I will definitely be using them again if I move in the future and I will be recommending them to anyone that will lend an ear.

Thank you once again for everything that all of you did for us.

They don't just remove your things, but stress as well

The team at Intercity were fantastic from the beginning to the end of the process. The initial consultation, booking, and coordination ahead of moving day was simple and the office team were very responsive.

On moving day, the team arrived early in the morning and had loaded the two vans within 2.5 hours. They set off about 90 minutes ahead of us, and when we got to the property we couldn't believe how they had already managed to unload everything into our new home. It was fantastic.

Huge thank you to the team for being so responsive, professional, and helping reduce stress on what was a very busy day!

Long-distance move from Mid Glamorgan to Midlothian

South Wales to Scotland

5 movers arrived to pack up a 2 bedroom flat, and everything was packed by them and on the lorry in about an hour.

Agreed a time to meet at the new property the next day in Scotland and they arrived bang on time.

The 2 movers unloaded the lorry and even helped me put back together my dinning table.

Everything arrived in one piece with no damage. Can't fault them.

Everything was good. The estimate process was thorough, subsequent communication clear and helpful. My movers, Luke and Stuart, were excellent coping easily with tricky city centre parking and nothing was too much trouble for them. They reassured me throughout the day and made a stressful event considerably less difficult. I am so glad I chose this firm.

House move and clearance

Admin team were exceptionally responsive in tailoring their service to my exact needs: collection from Cardiff on day 1 and delivery to North Wales on day two, with some contents for clearance. Two vans were provided: one for the move and one for clearance. Polite and helpful removal team arrived exactly on time on both days. Loading and unloading was done quickly and carefully.

Excellent service from everyone that I dealt with at this company. Anna that answered the phone was very friendly and clearly explained things to me. The team that moved my items were exceptional! They were so friendly and nice. They took great care when moving my items and even did the little bit extra for me, which made it a pleasant experience. The price was good, the communication was exceptional, and the service was friendly and professional through the entire process.

Amazing Service

Amazing service from everyone that I dealt with. During the video tour, they were quick to go through everything & provide suggestions on how to ensure everything was packed safely.

On moving day, had 3 gentleman arrive with 2 vans. Everyone was super friendly & helpful, clearing the house quickly and with great care, especially as I had more specialist items that required greater care. At the drop off point, they made sure everything went where it needed to be & that nothing was damaged.

Overall an amazing sevice. Good price, amazing communication throughout & great care with all of our stuff

Cannot recommend this company enough. Fantastic service from start to finish. Wasn't an easy move as got cancelled once through no fault of theirs our ours. But found them courteous,caring and a can't do enough attitude which in this day and age goes a long way. Have used them 3 times now for different moves and every time been brilliant. House move: Wales to Scotland

We used Intercity Removals to move from Wales to Scotland and the entire process was completely stress-free.

There was clear communication from Intercity Removals from the outset regarding pricing, logistics, and timescales.

On the day of the move, Alex and Florian moved all of our stuff quickly but with care and bubble-wrapped fragile items. Alex even further disassembled a bed for us after it became clear that it would not fit downstairs.

The following day, Alex and Florian moved all of our stuff into our new place with the same speed and attention. Communication from Alex and Florian was great throughout, with them both attending the property immediately after I obtained the keys and moving all of our furniture into the correct rooms.

I can't recommend Intercity Removals highly enough and Alex and Florian are a credit to the business.

Great service from initial contact

Every single person we came across from Intercity were fantastic: the initial video call to assess the amount of stuff we had to move; Anna who dealt with all my many queries up until the move and the 5 lovely chaps who moved us were great.

The price was such good value and I’d like the company to give a pay rise to the drivers and the porters as they put in so much effort on one of the hottest days of the year.
