In this post, we would like to present you some interesting numbers regarding the removals industry in the United Kingdom.
According to the Office of National Statistics, the London region had 52,000 more people leaving the metro area than arriving. The Yorkshire and the Humber had 2,200 more people moving to the area than leaving it. Birmingham was the place with most both inbound and outbound moves.
503,000 people moved to the UK during the year last year, compared to the 517,000 people who moved during the previous year. Less people came to the UK from abroad.
There were increases in the numbers of visas issued for the purposes of work and for study. It turns out that most of the people who undertook an international move made the move to seek career or education.
