Andrew and his team of two arrived on time to clear out my mother's house following her move into a care home.

They came highly recommended - and no wonder - they took all the 'stress' out of a very stressful situation.

They worked with care and speed and sorted items for Auction, charity, and skipping - they wrapped boxed delicate items and found a few 'lost treasures' and returned them. All items where then delivered to the right places leaving me with an empty house.

Simply excellent service and such lovely people. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andrew and his team at Hooks.

I can’t fault Andrew and his team at all who are friendly and courteous. They advised and tailored our needs prior and during to the moves and everything went perfectly.

Very good advice on maximizing charity +recycling opportunities and estimating storage space needed. Also, very clear, simple and competitive pricing.

I would go nowhere near this company. They returned my mothers property damaged and items missing. A dinner service in a suitcase, a missing drawer in an antique sidebord, painting missing, weights from a grandmother clock packed with a stereo. When I refused to use their 3 Van's for transport to Ireland they refused to release property until payed in full, knowing damaged items and property missing and no will not answer emails.
If you value your property, go nowhere near them.

We chose Hooks to pack up our antique holiday cottage before we rented it long term. Andrew was exceedingly courteous, prompt and efficient throughout. He provided a detailed estimate and a soon appointment. He arrived - and finished - exactly on time. He provided his own excellent range of packing materials and worked fast but always with punctilious attention to our many fragile antiques. His price for the work was very reasonable. We should be delighted to use Hooks again and again

Andrew and his lovely lads moved my 81 yrs old mum. What I thought was going to be a stressful day for my mum was made so much easier. Andrew and his team were punctual,very well mannered and very courteous. The whole team worked really hard to make this big move for mum a hassle and pain free experience even working around a very excited yapping dog! Not one single damaged item. All items put in correct rooms on arrival. I would highly recommend Hooks Removals for anyone seeking a first class removal service.

Moved back into York from a couple of hours away using Hooks for the second time. They were amazing as they were the first time.

This moved needed 2 vans and 3 guys, they arrived on time and were so friendly they made what is always a stressful experience much easier.

They are super professional and expert movers (and quick) but always made me laugh throughout and were really helpful with everything. Both times I’ve used Hooks I have found I’ve had no need to worry about my belongings or the property, they take really good care of everything and made sure I was completely happy with where everything was after unloading.

I would never use a different firm after two great moving experiences with Hooks. Cannot compliment them enough.
