Groovy Movers

Groovy Movers were incredibly helpful from the outset. They came to give me a quote, which was later produced in writing, and contacted me back to see how my decision was going. I was concerned about making sure I had packing boxes and materials, but they included all that in the price. I was also unsure whether all my furniture etc would fit into their van, but they reassured me with a review of my details, that they were sure it would all go in fine. On the day, they arrived bright and early and were incredibly helpful with everything that needed moving (even taking apart a few things for me). They were polite and professional throughout the day, with no problems during the wait for the moneys to go through and keys to be collected. I would have no problem in recommending them to anyone.

I am a pensioner with mobility problems and chose Groovy Movers because they said they would do all the packing etc. and were mid-priced. They let me down badly - my move took 13hrs to go from a one bedroom flat to a one bedroom bungalow quarter of a mile away. They couldn't fit everything into their van so put some things in my car, like my TV (unwrapped) and left a lot behind for me to pick up myself the next day! They have not answered the complaint letter I wrote nor have they bothered to come and collect their boxes as requested. Thanks to them my move turned out to be exhausting and traumatic. .
