Helpful Movers

The booking process was very easy, and the sales service lady (whose name I can’t recall) was very helpful and very responsive the whole time over the phone and by email. On the day, we had these guys with Gold Mover's uniform, they started wrapping, blankets and everything, taking care of all my belongs, the team was patient and very polite throughout the whole process. We’d definitely use GoldMovers for our next move again.

Horrible !

Please do not use them. Please!!!

They:

- under quoted us $400 on the day of the move for stairs (original quote $70) quote on day $400 for stairs… at the new place refused to take up a small couch to the granny flat that had 3 small stairs unless we paid an ADDITIONAL $70 after we paid $400 for stairs !!!!

-damaged our goods, including a fridge and washing machine that had to be replaced $4,000 later on buying new goods. Rang them to discuss; they hung up on us , no apology and says the damage was there before … disgusting.

-took the apartment keys , were horrendous to get a hold of to return them and then hung up on me when I was expressing my concerns about our keys.

- left a TV that we asked multiple times to take.

- removed all my comments on Facebook to hide the truth.

They’re awful people.

Worst experience with Gold Removals

I’ve moved home many many times, this was the worst move thanks to Gold removals. They were incredibly slow, sent the wrong size truck, rude, dented my fridge and marked my couch with blue pen.

My move was quoted by a list of items I provided. having moved all the boxes and furniture myself with a trailer, I provided a short list of the remaining items. Golds reviewed the list and gave me a quote. After the quote I decided to move even more furniture on my own to make the move on the day as stress free as possible. This meant there was even LESS things for them to move. The truck on the day was too small 3.5 tonne truck) and really poorly packed by the two men sent with it. Who took 2 hours to pack this truck. They did not seem to have a clue what they were doing, did not pack to the top and could barely lift the furniture as they went. I’ve moved 7 times in my adult life and always used removalists. I can honestly say you would be better off getting two blokes off the street than wasting your money on this joke of a removalist company. I tried to reason with their “head office” but it got me absolutely no where other than a $50 discount. I ended up having to race out to hire a trailer to fit in what they couldn’t, last minute on a rainy day.... This made for a very stressful and expensive day!

Oh They also charge you and extra 10% GST if you don’t pay in cash. I believe this is highly illegal in Australia!

Worst removal company ever

They will damage your furniture and make every excuse under the sun as to why their so called insurance company won't pay.

Stress free experience.

I was required to move at short notice and Gold Removals were the only ones I contacted who could move me immediately. I found the booking staff were really helpful and polite. The two guys that came to move my furniture were very polite, funny and helpful making my move a pleasant and stress free experience.

ZERO STARS! WORST REMOVALISTS EVER!

Do not use these guys, the company is run by a crooked con-man. They damage furniture, cant pack a truck properly, over-charge, and cancel when the job gets too hard, they quit and drive off leaving me stranded.

Professional and very efficient service!

Professional and very efficient service! The removalists were so efficient in packing my 40ft container, I had more room than anticipated and was therefor able to load additional items. Thank you!!

Best and cheap removalist in Brisbane

Carlos and his team turned what was going to be a high stress day into an easy, almost relaxed process. Everything was packed, they were meticulous on details. A difficult bulk sofa was easily dealt with, everyone was polite, friendly and conscientious. Five stars and recommended all day long. Really great, thanks so much all of your Gold Removals saved me. They were fast & helpful and I would highly recommend them.
