I Wouldn't Recommend Them to Anyone.

PLEASE DONT EVEN THINK OF USING THIS MOVING COMPANY!!

I spoke with Paul(I think he's the owner) and got a quote for what I needed and set up a date for the move. I was given the 2-6p slot which was ok. The guys called on moving day to let me know they were on their way, they got there at 3:38 and came up to my place, Paul proceeds to tell me how they almost didn't come because the traffic was heavy.. And he had a bit of an attitude because of it like it was my fault. He tells me the truck had some other persons stuff in it that they were supposed to drop off at a donation place but didn't because of the traffic, I told him he could have called me to let me know that they would be late because the had to drop the stuff off to see if I was ok with it..then he asks me how much stuff I had to move and I told him once again, the apartment and the stuff in my garage, he gets bent out of shape and says " well this might be two trips", and started to move things. In the process of moving my stuff all the of the guys had to use my bathroom which each of them took approx 15-20 minutes in there.. Really? So one of the guys hurt his ankle on the last job and (I felt bad for him) pretty much stayed downstairs moving things which of course took longer since he was hurt. Another guy broke one of my book cases and they weren't (and still haven't) going to fix it like it was nothing, one guy told me to use black tape to cover the break in my book case so it won't show.. We finally get everything moved five hours later and Paul wants to get paid.. So I bring up the book case and Paul said he'll get the piece from Ikea and get it fixed.. Its been over a week now and still nothing from Paul and his moving company. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!! I sent him an email discussing their service..

Hello,
I wanted to let you know that I wasn't real happy with the service I received from your company for the money I spent. I can understand that you were upset with the traffic and getting to my complex, but that was no excuse for you having an attitude and taking it out on me the customer. I feel that you didn't really give me the service I paid for, which was supposed to be three guys and a truck for $100 an hour plus the $75 for gas and taxes.. the truck wasn't even empty and one of your guys was hurt which wasn't my fault which caused him not to be at full capacity with helping and definitely factored in the time taking longer. I think as a business, there should have been something reduced financially because of that since I didn't cause it to happen. Also, I didn't get a copy of the contract which is bad because now I have nothing showing the agreement that was made for your services. During the move one of your guys broke my book case which if I hadn't said anything about, you would have left and not even tried to do anything about it, and actually you still haven't done anything which you said you'd do. I'm sure you probably won't attempt to fix this situation, but that's ok because believe me everyone I come in contact with will here this story and it will be posted on every site I can get it on, to let people know about the kind of service you give.

Very trustworthy.

I highly recommend Donation Movers.  They were quick to quote and easy to book.  On moving day, they called when they were on their way and showed up right on time.  My apartment has a parking garage where the truck would not fit.  The movers were flexible as to where they could park. They actually parked in a parking lot next to my building on my suggestion.   While 1 mover was parking, the other two started piling and wrapping things. There was no wasted time.  They packed up the truck very quickly and unpacked even quicker.  The movers were great to talk with and very easy to work with.  I am a single girl and I felt very comfortable with the guys.  All and all a great experience!!

Donation Movers LLC- Horrible company!

Horrible moving company to say the least! Movers were all aged 19 to 24 and appeared to be hired directly out of a reform school. They repeatedly made crude and inappropriate comments and were more interested in ogling my 17 year old daughter than moving my possessions. I was promised wardrobe boxes by the owner when I booked my move..they never arrived and I was told I never asked for them. The owner was contacted and he insisted I never asked for them. He was a bold faced liar.  My family's clothing that was in the closets were heaped into piles by the movers and left on the floor of my daughter’s bedroom in the new house. I had my new house completely repainted on the interior prior to moving in and I made it plain to the movers to be careful with the walls when moving furniture After watching one of them bash a corner of dresser into the stairway wall and causing a gouge in the drywall I complained and again made it clear that the house was just freshly painted..this punk kid who had caused the wall damage mumbles under breath, "Jesus, I'll cost $5 bucks to fix that, what's the big deal?"..It was just one issue after another with this company. I went to pay them with a check at the completion of this nightmare and was told they didn't accept checks. I was never informed of this when booking the move but the head kid mover insisted I was told by the owner..that's a lie. The owner was contacted and he insisted I was told that they didn't accept checks..again a bold faced lie! I was forced to drive to an ATM to withdraw the money to pay these clowns. When I returned I went to pay them and I asked for a receipt since I was paying cash. I was informed by a kid, that I came to find out was the owners son that they don't give receipts and that his father would email me one at a later date. That wasn't acceptable to me since I was paying cash. I finally had to tell this [EDIT] that I wasn't going to pay him unless he gave me a receipt..he finally scribbled a note on the back of one of their business cards that I had paid them in full. They stole a brand new push broom that I had just recently purchased but I didn't find that out until 2 days after the move when I went to go use it and discovered that it was gone. They also dumped the remains of a damaged & broken water softener tank (it didn’t belong to me) that I had seen in the back of their trailer when they arrived at my house, in my garage when they left. I guess they thought that was funny since I complained about their careless and unprofessional conduct at my house. This was the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE and sleazy group of so called movers that I had ever had the misfortune to hire. Never again would I go within 20 miles of this group of thieves and punks.   .

Moving.

You had 3 men move me on 1-16-2013 at 7:00 am from 4225 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix AZ to a storage unit in Phoenix. They were professional and polite, and hard working guys. My wife and I could not believe how fast they moved our two bedroom apartment. They moved me in less than a 1 1/2 hours. I have moved several times, and I can honestly say this is the 1st time I have not had problems with movers. I am not saying this just because they were fast, but it was shocking to see how efficient they worked. I wish I had taken more note of their names, but I would like to say they did a good job.

Glad to use donation movers.

This is my second time I used donation movers. I had them to move to our new house early this year with great expeirece. So I tried them again. Yesterday I just had donation movers to help me to move the entertainment center that I bought from another house. Paul gave me a discount/flat rate as returning customer. Movers/Cody and his pal were arriving on 4pm sharp as promised. They are polite and professional, and good communcators. They did excellent job packing/movng/unpacking/set up, they were so carefully with the entermainment center and I could not ask anything more! Definately use them again or recommend to friends.

Our Move Experience.

This was a great experience right from the minute these 3 men started. They were polite, neat, friendly, careful and fast. They asked alot of questions so they knew what they were taking and how far they had to go. They took special care to load all of our oil paintings carefully in the truck first & not a one was damaged. They took care in shrink wrapping our dressers and cabinets & my computer desk. We didn't think it would all fit in the truck that they arrived in, but it did with room to spare. We told them which way to go to the new place so they would save us time and them alot of heavy traffic, and they followed the instructions and were almost right behind us when we arrived at the gate so we could let them in. It has been a pleasure to work with such wonderful people from the office staff on the phone & answering the e-mails to the moving men. They finished up at roughly the same time we had figured it would take for this move. also, if you have furniture that you no longer want, they will take it away for you and donate it to a needy family or thrift store. You don't have to worry about what your going to do with it. Thats a Big Plus right there. We would use them again in a heart beat, if the need arose for us to move.

Just the best!

By far, the best movers I have ever hired! The team worked on 4th of July, when I couldn't find anyone who would even quote me correctly, much less want to do the job on a holiday. They were ridiculously quick (while not sacrificing care for my items), courteous, professional and thoughtful. The price quoted was exactly what I paid with no hidden charges! Thankfully, they arrived early as we were ready and we didn't want to wait all day to get this task done. We finished early, much quicker than I could even imagine. They had the itinerary intact and reviewed each facet completely. I would highly recommend them to anyone as it made such a chore an easy experience and well worth the small cost.

Michele and Troy Powers.

This was our first time hiring movers, so we have nothing to compare them to. But we were very happy with the results. We hired four men. They were on time, personable, friendly, communicative, and worked quickly. They answered all my questions, didn't take any breaks that I could see, and finished in less time than we'd anticipated (3.5 hours)! They fit our whole two story house into one truck--one trip (local move). A few of our things got a little ruffed-up, but I suppose that's unavoidable. I love the added perk of them taking things we wanted to donate. That's a big plus! I also appreciate that they bill by the 1/4 hour and don't round up to the next hour. I would recommend Donation Movers, LLC to my friends and would use them again.

Local move from Laveen, AZ to New River, AZ

If your value your Property do not Hire this company!!

If you value your property do not hire this company!! They moved us from Phoenix to New River and I thought they did a great job, until I unwrapped my brand new $3K refrigerator and noticed there were 2 dings and a large crease on the front of it. I have tried to call Donation Movers several times and sent a few e-mails and no response on how they plan on fixing my refrigerator. They were happy to take my $900 dollars, but will not even give me the courtesy of a return phone call to discuss this issue. Shady company if you ask me. This is not how you treat your customers, I will never recommend this company! EVER!!
