Denbigh is a small, picturesque town in Denbighshire in northern Wales. It is a traditional, market town that is steeped in history and has a real sense of community. The 13th century Denbigh Castle is just one of a number of historic sites around the town. While the famous Boxing Day barrel rolling competition is a key day in the local calendar. There are a number of places to shop and eat in the town centre, including the locally renowned Brookhouse Mill restaurant.
If you are a fan of the great outdoors, Denbigh is a short trip away from the coast. It’s also just a drive from the impressive peaks and walks of the Snowdonia National Park and, a little further afield, the beautiful beaches of Anglesey Island. In fact, Denbigh was frequently visited by Beatrix Potter during her life and this gorgeous Welsh countryside even provided an inspiration for Peter Rabbit.
Denbigh has many Edwardian and 20s homes spread across the town, with even older properties in the town centre. It is important you find a conveyancer with local knowledge as many of Denbigh’s houses are situated right next to medieval ruins. Reallymoving is here to help you find the best in the area.
