We moved on 21st January furniture was in storage until 1st April. I have used Andrew Porter three times previously and they were good. This time, not good we are missing a standard lamp and some of our furniture is damaged. Due to the condition of the property we moved into we are only just unpacking items.Andrew Porter don't want to know because we have not reported this within seven days. The move and storage cost us approx 2000 pounds. I won't use them again and think their service has been terrible. Yvonne Moran.

Excellent service. Paul came the day before we moved to pack up the delicates and couldn't have been more helpful. Everything was packed very well and arrived without any breakages.

On the day of the move Ludovic, Paul and Mark worked extremely hard, in very hot conditions, to move all of our possessions. They were very organised and the move went very smoothly. An additional two men arrived towards the end of the day to help the team and ensure everything was in the new house by the end of the day.

We were very pleased with the service. A big thank you to the team.

We had a great experience with Andrew Porter. The day we moved was incredibly icy and traffic was bad but they got the job done promptly and competently. The team were polite and courteous, and they sent the right number of men for the job.

Our load included a piano, which they handled with appropriate care. We opted to pack our own boxes but as we hadn't quite finished, the team helped out with the last few! The boxes themselves which Andrew Porter provided were decent quality and easy to assemble.

The team used dust sheets to protect the floors in the old and new properties, and we found no damage to our possessions when they'd finished.

We moved from Farnworth, Bolton to Wincanton, Somerset on the 15th February, from start to finish it was wonderful, there was no stress what so ever, from ringing to ask for a quote the man coming to assess to job the delivery of the boxes every thing went like clockwork. On the day the two lads who came were efficient friendly and just altogether great, nothing to much trouble for them they helped my husband to dismantle some things in the garage, as he wasn't to good on the day. As we were moving 200 plus miles away they brought the furniture the next day, gave us a time and kept us informed, they put every thing were we wanted it and were fantastic, still smiling at the end of it. I would recommend Andrew Porters and they were cheaper than the other quotes we had had. As I said at the beginning FANTASTIC from start to finish.

We opted to pack ourselves, the assessor was accurate with boxes required and they were delivered when requested as we were working to a tight moving date. The boxes are marked with room details and asks you to identify if the contents are breakable which was great. The 2 man team who moved us were polite, knowledgeable and respectful of our furniture and possessions, there was nothing broken or damaged during the move. The move was about 5 miles, we left one property at around 1pm and were fully moved into our new home by 3:30pm. Overall the Andrew Porter Team made the move easy and took a lot of the stress and worry out of what can be a very difficult process.
