All Service Moving

We are a military family, we are use to moving every couple of years and we have never had such a terrible moving experience. We trusted All Service Moving with our move when the military was unable to move us in the time frame needed. Our move date was schedule for a 2 day move 6/15-6/16 from WA to NC, however it turned into 3 days due to unprofessional staff and lack of help.During this move half

of our home was to go on All services truck from WA to NC and the other half to their storage facility in Lynnwood, WA. This was due to the truck not being large enough. Several times I requested a larger truck, and the company said I would need to pay for 2 trucks therefore double the price since their truck was not large enough.

Each day the staff/packers showed up late, I did most of the packing my self with the driver who showed up on time each day. Each day the staff/packers got into arguments about who was in charge which took a lot of time out of getting my house packed along with them not showing up on time each day. The first day the 3 packers were sent, 1 packer argued for most of the day about who was in charge and did not following instruction from myself and his crew memeber's with packing, another was limping around all day. I then requested the packer who argued all day and did not follow instruction not to return the 2nd day, however he did and the issues persisted with arguing throughout the day to the point where I had to call headquarters to remove him from the job for not listening to instruction and arguing with the driver. I gave instruction each day as to what was not to be packed as I would be traveling with my kids an needed the items and the instruction was not followed by the same employee (Charlie) who I asked not to return. Along with the instruction I clearly marked items to stay and asked for them not to pack up my baby bottles and supplies and Charlie did not listen. I had to repurchase items they had taken before we even left WA and they took my tools so I could not break down my babies furniture.

As a result of having inadequate staff my home was not packed within the 2 day window as scheduled. We went into day 3 and 2 more packers showed up at the end of the day to finally take the remaining items to storage. Each day items were taking to storage I asked for irregular items such as toys and lamps and tools to be boxed up and I was told they would be boxed up when they got to the storage facility. The storage facility was over 2 hours away and I was unable to verify that all items made it due to having to care for 2 children and packers staying late each day past 8/9pm.

Several items that were on the truck to NC arrived damaged. Items I marked for storage were received on the truck instead of items marked to come on the truck. As a results I still did not have tools to assemble items that arrived, I was missing pieces to furniture so we had to sleep on the floor for over a month, I had no high chair, all of my 6 year old's clothes went to storage. We had to replace several items before items from storage arrived over 2 months later.

When items arrived 2 months later, there were several items missing. My tools and other items were missing from the storage unit. Ironically the crew left behind their own tools, shrink wrap, and several other moving materials on Day 2. When the Day 3 staff arrived I was honest and told the staff, and they took the rest of the items left behind. However in return my items including tools were missing.I then filed a 3rd incident request.

I have reached out to this company several times and filed 3 incident forms and each time I am told someone will follow up and I have yet to receive any type of follow up or reconcile to this terrible move.

This was by far the worst move we have ever had and the lack of customer service which workers showing up on time, fighting while working, overall not being professional, and not following up on incident reports filed.

If I had to access the completed job of this move and this company I would not even give 1 star. This move was terrible and the lack of customer service and follow up is ridiculous.

I recently hired this company to move me from Gresham Oregon to Salem Oregon. The two gentleman who showed up Madge & Pierce came prepared and where quick and efficient. They transported everything in a safe manner and I had zero issues with any of my boxes or furniture. I would hire this company again knowing how well these two gentleman looked after me. Overall price was a lot cheaper then I expected with the travel time. Like I said these two gentleman work very quick and seemless.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1300

The experience started off well but after loading and weighing the truck, I was told it was overweight and was given a couple options. One of the options was to have the overweight items delivered by freight and the my mover told me it would be between $300 and $500 and take about a week. In reality it took four weeks and the cost was over $2,300. I spoke with people at the moving office and they kept telling me someone would get back to me tomorrow, and I would receive no calls. I had to call them to follow up and no one had any answers as to when I would get my things or why it was taking so long. Ultimately I did get my things and everything was damaged.

In the beginning, I told the company the items that I was moving and they told me that they would give me a flat rate price so I wouldn't have to worry about surprise increases. I ended up paying nearly 50% more with the freight charges and lots of damaged items. If I were to do it over again, I would go with a company that has bigger trucks and not weight restrictions. It was hard to know that customer service was going to be so bad because things started out great. In the end, they offered a $250 discount if I signed a waiver. Meanwhile they apologized profusely about being mislead by their team members. This isn't how you make right a mistake caused by your own team.
