Initially the experience of the company was very good. Prompt arrangement for on site quote, confirmed before arrived, arrived on time. Quote was high but competitive. They were able to arrange the move at very little notice (days).
We had the pre-move fragile pack. I specifically asked him only to pack the fragile kitchen items. He packed everything he came across including white tablecloths with soy sauce bottles, which inevitably leaked, while missing some fragile items in two of the cupboards. This meant extra time and materials costs.
There were 2 vans on the day, both seemed to be 'man with van' companies. The smaller van started to drive off with the back roller door wide open. Luckily we caught him before he pulled on to the road.
At neither house did they use anything to protect the floors. In our new home I had to point out several times that they were bringing gravel in on their shoes that was scratching the wooden floors. They then said they couldn't use their matting because it would slip, so it was up to us to find a compromise using our rugs which didn't slip.
They worked very hard, moved us in good time and were friendly, but certainly not the professional service we expected for the price quoted.
