Respectfully Melanie, the only true part of this review is that after you refused to make payment, we made it clear that debt collectors would be involved if payment wasn’t made within 24 hours. As a company, we try to be understanding when things do not go to plan. When your move was postponed, we did not charge additional storage fees for your items or additional hire fees for wardrobe boxes. We also waived taking your deposit on two occasions. We informed you of the hours you were being charged for on the completion of your move. 10 hours for the first day, 4 hours for the second day, which you disputed saying the first day was 9 hours. As we explained, on the first day, the total hours were 9 hours 20 minutes. As per our terms and conditions, we do not charge partial hours, so this rounds up to 10 hours. On the second day, the total time was 3 hours 15 minutes, rounding up to 4 hours. As a good will gesture, we combined the partial hours, effectively reducing the bill by an hour. Then, you requested a breakdown via email, so we sent one over detailing the above with start and finish times. Which you disputed again. After further explaining the costs as per our terms and conditions, you stopped responding. At which point, we informed you of the involvement of the debt collection agency if the outstanding bill was not paid. Our company, like many other companies, is not a charity. We cannot afford to not get paid for our services. If we have not been paid for our work, our only option is to send the bill to the debt collection agency, as would of been the case here had payment not eventually been made. Regardless we would like to wish you the best in your new home and hope that you can avoid similar situations by making payment in a timely fashion in the future.
